  • The audio needs fixing

My only complaint it’s when I try to hear what I’ve composed, the dynamics don’t work, at all. Also if I compose for a whole orchestra the sound starts to break down and it starts to mute some instruments. Last but not least, sometimes if I compose a piece that it’s “too fast” the rhythm get messed up, and I’m just talking about 8th notes. I haven’t try complex rhythms with 16th and 32th notes.

PS. It would be cool if I’d be able to copy and paste big chunks of music (several bars), not just a note, a chord or an arpeggio.

  • Few more suggestions to bring

I love this app and I want to help make it better by giving you a few suggestions. To begin, adding trills would be nice to have, and even would be to add ritardando (or just rit. ) which is where you slowly slow down the tempo. And if you have a rit. then you should add accelerando which is basically the opposite of ritardando, slowly increase the tempo. Another thing would be to incorporate the dynamics, as in where you can actually hear them. The last thing I wanna suggest is adding Cut-time.

  • It’s Good but,

I like this app and the instruments sound good but I was wondering, maybe you add some other tools like the Trill Line or Arpeggios or maybe even a Tremolo. By the way the Dynamics don’t work, I tried to make the sound go higher and lower and is doesn’t work. I am not even raising or lowering the volume. I tried form ppp to fff and then to fff to ppp and it still doesn’t work. Please try make the Dynamics work and add some more tools, then I’ll will give you 5 Golden Stars!

  • Dynamics and articulation

This app is incredible. It’s easy to use, it has a very friendly interface, and I’m already making some songs here and there after a day of getting used to the way it works.

There are only a couple of problems that I see, and those problems have to do with the articulations, and the dynamics. I put some on a few notes to test them out, only to find out that they don’t actually do anything.

This is one of the greatest musical apps on IOS that I’ve ever found, but that one extra step with the articulations and dynamics would be a huge step forward.

I’m really loving it so far, and I can’t wait to see what comes out for the next update.

  • A drummers review

First, I understand this is a free app. So I’ll start by saying; as a basic tool this app is alright. But it stops there. Note value does not exist in this app, and it’s extremely frustrating. If I place a quarter note on 1, it shouldn’t be placing a quarter rest on the eight note between 1 & 2.
Again, if you’re using this for basic notation needs, it’s can be helpful at times... but once you begin to use it for more technical writing; triplets, shuffle grooves, ghost notes, etc... the app doesn’t work at all.

For other instruments, it may help. But for drummers, it’s a waste of time to even bother.

  • Help with one thing

Overall this is a very useful app, especially since it is free, but I think after one of the updates, instead of having the key signatures based on the instrument, it just has the same number of sharps or flats for every instrument which makes it nearly impossible to create something where different instruments have different key signatures. Just something I think needs to be fixed.

  • Love this app!

I really love this app! It’s simple to use but is loaded with features. I write professional music with it and get the idea of how it will sound for any errors and then record it off the sheet music for my clients, even playing the MIDI file through professional equipment for professional sound. It’s a great app. The developer stays on top of feedback. Bravo!

  • Pretty good except one problem

When writing music for the drums can you have it so there is an option for the hi hat with the foot and make it so we can be able to mark the notes with its own labels so we can place where we want the bass drum to appear on the staff or another part of the drum set. Other than that, this is a great, easy, simple app to use and I enjoy using it. Thanks for reading!

  • Great App!!! (Needs one thing)

I have used this app for quite awhile, although I have had a few issues with the sound quality, HOWEVER, with the newest update I have no issue with the sound, my only complaint is that the dynamics do not do anything, i have tested it many times, going from ppp to fff without any change in volume, if the next update has that i would be greatly pleased. Thank you so much for the wonderful app though!!! :)

  • Great!

Amazing app. I love it! However, I have a couple things that I think could make it a little better than it already is. (*=important)

First of all, I have a few glitches here and there. Nothing that ruins anything while I’m composing, except for one where I have a 32nd note followed by a quarter note (I’m remaking the 21st Century Fox theme). During playback, the 32nd note plays fine, and then the quarter note plays like a 32nd note and just stops. You hear a quick beep where there should be a longer quarter note. It works fine with 16th notes, it just sounds better with 32nd notes.

*Also, I was wondering if you could go back to the old sounds for trumpet, violin, trombone, and tuba. The new ones I’m not liking a ton because they mess up the sounds of some of the songs I’ve made.*

*I was also wondering if you could add trills and falls (by fall I mean that thing where trumpets start on one notes and fall to another slowly). That sort of thing.*

*One more thing. The slurs, accents, and dynamics don’t actually do anything during playback. You can see them, but you never hear any instruments get quieter or louder, or accent, or slur.*

Besides all those points I LOVE this app!! Keep it up!!
