Disappointing
The game does not come across all that well on small devices, perhaps it would be better on a tablet. The lack of a tutorial is very frustrating.

I had the pre-update version, had played it for an hour or two, found it crashy and not intuitive but entertaining, intended to get back to it. When the update came out in the last few weeks, it was so huge that it wouldn't download (more than 3gb is enormous for an iPad app; most apps update that amount of material from within the app itself, using it as a shell for new data). I deleted the previous version in the hope that my problem was that there was only about a gb of space left on my tablet (my bad, but there was nothing else I was willing/able to temporarily delete), but I was still unable to download and install the new version. iTunes no longer allows side-loading a PC download of an app to ameliorate this issue, so I seem to be out of luck for now.
Update: I appreciate the offer of investigation/assistance, but I fixed the issue myself and updated my review! It required a hard erase-and-reset of my iPad, which isn't that bad with an iCloud backup. I did it for other reasons than to get this particular app working, but it does seem to have solved the problem and allowed me to download the updated version. Just as Baldur’s Gate 1 EE is amazing in every right then so is the sequel. The original BG2 expanded on the first and was critically considered much improved then so is the EE. The Black Pits II returns as a unique campaign that lets you test high level characters but this version has a much more involved story which is pretty interesting. There are quests with multiple ways to approach, a unique antagonist and colorful bunch of characters. Really very involved and a great surprise.
Really stellar stuff was the original game so this is now ‘Improved really stellar stuff’. Without a doubt the best version to play and great compatibility with phones that doesn’t suffer the curse of low effort IOS ports. Must have for any RPG fan.Show lessLokigohome

Same character import bug plaguing game for years
HP lost if importing a dual class character (import fighter/mage and hp is recalculated using only mage levels). It’s been complained about since forever.. please fix or provide a quick and dirty editor so we can correct the issue.. Otherwise love the game, have since its original PC release.RentATech LLC

I haven’t played the PC version of this but the port seems to be great. The game is really fun and unique. It has a nice story line and you can choose whether you want to be good or evil. This is a must have for any rpg fans.Janakan257
When can we get update for Chinese?
After so many years, we still cannot get update for a language used by over 1.3 billion people. It's a good game, but I hope I can see Chinese in official version without using hack soft.

Game breaking bugs...
Whilst I have enjoyed it, early on the TOB expansion I encountered a game breaking bug, it seems the developers have been aware of it for some time but apparently it is a low priority. For reference the bug is in Yara shugas lair and prevents you exiting to the second part of the lair.Bucky275

Hello! There's big patching going on right now. The beta of the next patch is available on PC and Android. As soon as the beta is over, the patch will be released on all platforms. As for the issue you mention, do you mean the following: Device used to open the way to the stairs in Yaga-Shura's Stronghold doesn't have an UI indicator? In this case, you should be able to just tap on it if you're close enough - it's just missing a UI indicator.
