Thought this was for FRIENDS, getting sent nudes.
Making new friends as an adult can be hard. Heard about this app and thought I’d give it a try. Although my bio clearly states I am straight and only looking for friends I am getting hit on by guys, and even sent unsolicited nudes. Very disappointing. Maybe it’s because it shares the users between BFF and regular Bumble, and it shouldn’t. Why does a “friend” app even ask you about sexual orientation???
Completely split off and make people get a fresh new account and explicitly tell them BFF isn’t for dating or hookups. Until things change, forget looking for friends on here..Show lessscottjl

Put my phone number in and it just says “loading your profile” “you look great” and doesn’t take me anywhere.
I don’t even have a profile I’ve never created one because it just gives me a code and stays on the loading screen. Great way to make friends.Emma0720’

If you are a man, this is essentially a gay hookup app. Like grindr but classier.
Every time you think you might have found someone who seems like a match as a friend, you scroll down and they have a picture of them in a speedo and flexing or something like that. So, you will see 80% guys who are pretty open about wanting a gay hookup, 19.9% guys who want a gay hookup but are hiding that in their bio, and 0.1% me, the one guy who thought this was actually for finding friends to maybe go to a baseball game or concert, or meetup for board games or something.
And yes, you will only be shown other men, not women. It’s not written in the description at all. Huge bait-and-switch here.Show lessxobk

I switched over from the main app to this app. I love the new Plans feature. But absolutely hate all of the bugs this app has. My account keeps getting flagged for no reason. And each time I reach out to BFF Support, they just send me an email saying it was a mistake. But they restricted my account due to THEIR MISTAKE and then never undo their restrictions. Even though i have the emails from them admitting their mistake. The restrictions just make it where I can’t link my instagram account which is minor but still annoying since it was their mistake to begin with. I keep seeking out help from support but they aren’t understanding the issue I keep telling them i think. The app is a great idea for people who are only interested in making friends. The only downside is there’s a lot of bugs and technical issues with the app that have yet to be resolved so just beware of that and report any you find so that their team can hopefully work on them.Show lessShayandrea

I’m gay and typically get along easier with women over men but I can’t talk to any because the app only allows you to talk to people of the same gender. Can you fix this please.Nonzero169

I don't like 2 things about this app. One is that I set parameters for persons I want to see, but those parameters don't apply to persons who can like ME. For example, I can filter out persons who smoke or persons who are 25 miles away from me, but those persons can still find ME. So I get a "like" and have to pay to see who liked me, just to discover it's a smoker from too far away. The 2nd thing I don't like is having to pay to see who likes you.Show lessMichelleMarieW

I upload photos of me with either my partner or my pets. Yet it’s violating your “rules”, I don’t go flashing my body off or anything like that. And I’m definitely over 18. Plus I don’t want men to match with me when I’m trying to look for friends of the same gender as me.G4M3RGLR
