Great concept but not detailed enough to give a real understanding of each subject
For example, Osiris is god of the underworld and marries his sister Isis, but what is she the goddess of??
Romulus and Remus were ordered to death by their grandfather, but what was his name/anything about him??
I feel like this would be a really interesting app if it delved a bit deeper into each subject, but currently each lesson will leave you with a middle school understanding of each subject at best.
It depends what level of understanding you’re trying to reach for each subject. For some this might be perfect, but personally it has me Googling around 4/5 different things each lesson which makes me feel like I could just search for the entire lesson online without a subscription.

Comparing this app to Duolingo is false advertising.
Duolingo allows you to use most of the apps features for free, especially the most essential feature which is the lessons. You can go through them all and only need to purchase if you want the extras. That is what contributes to the overwhelming success of Duolingo (without considering how they advertise the app). But for this app, you need to pay, or do a 7-day free trial where you must input your payment information anyways, to see any lesson. That’s not like Duolingo at all. So I’d suggest changing the ads to reflect this because this would be the main reason your reviews are tanking.
I won’t tell you to change your pricing or the design of the app bc ik that developers need to get paid. So all I’ll say is change your advertising and you’ll reach your target audience that’s actually willing to pay for this. But if you won’t do that, unlock some lessons completely for free, without having to do the free trial, so that people can get a taste of the app without having to input ANY payment information. Or, gets ads lol

Skip the authorization window by closing it in the top right corner. 2. You will see a screen offering the trial period - click “Start Free Trial”. 3. If you don’t see the trial offer, please close the payment window to get it.
Be wary
The iPhone version (deliberately)leads you to sign up online, so that they won’t have to issue a refund via apples terms/service. This is a deliberate obfuscation. As I’ve only ever used or seen it on my iPhone their refusal to give a refund (notified immediately it charged me 75$ aud for 3mnth auto debit). Their reply is a form letter to get stuffed.
Contacted apple, bank etc. NOT HAPPY - THEY ACT AS IF THEY ARE A SCAM.

A little disappointed
I too can afford to pay for a quality ap and would expect too. But the pricing is hard to understand. It says billed yearly in tiny greyed out writing. Then it depends on which screen you are on being blocked for payment the amount changes.
Really disappointing because I would pay if I could work out how much. I am less likely to pay for a full year up front without even trying it. Such a shame because honestly brilliant idea. I do hope you think about adding billing options like monthly payment options or at least access to one or two lessons. Good luck cause it’s a great idea.
