As a longtime user of Simple, I was so disappointed when the bank folded. Since then, I’d tried just about everything that was supposed to help budget and manage finances the way Simple did - and years later, Envelope has finally filled that gap. Amazing user experience and interface, and even better customer support. This is the future of banking we’ve been waiting for!

takes the stress out of budgeting
i used to get so overwhelmed with all my except budget docs and whatnot. it got to the point where i would forget to track stuff and then give up a couple weeks later. envelope money genuinely makes it so so easy to budget. it basically lets you create little budget categories (envelope) and each month it'll auto refill from your paycheck and then you can easily assign each transaction to an envelope. cannot recommend highly enough especially if you used to use simple bank

Just what I need
Simple was a game changer for my family’s budgeting and since they disappeared our finances have been a mess. After using Envelope the past few months, our budget is back on track and we’re making forward progress again! This is the only way to manage our money! So grateful for Envelope to fill the void!

The limit doesn't exist
This application and the team behind it are amazing. Throughout initial development, the team was super communicative with future and current users. The application itself runs so smoothly (and bugs are attacked quickly), and the design is top tier. I was a former "Simple" banking fan, and I've been on the search for the best replacement since. This is definitely top of my list.

I have had more cash on-hand using Envelope Money compared to any other bank. I have used every modern bank & neobank, and nothing beats Envelope. While there are growing pains compared to the small team they have compared to Wall Street, this app has the best user-interface and makes it easier than anything to track spending, plan for future bills & expenses, and know exactly how much money you can spend before payday.
This app may not be for everyone — I’d say it’s centered and best for those who is salaried and gets paid twice a month the same amount, at least at the moment.
Make your envelopes, your paycheck is divvied up to ensure you have exactly how much you need for every bill, put some money away for savings, and the rest is “available” to spend. It’s personal finance on autopilot. If you have self-control, a good job, and reasonable spending habits, this app makes it easy for you to be “rich”. No longer will you living paycheck to paycheck due to overspending. Truly has changed my financial life for the better. I’ve never missed a payment on a credit car or got myself into super bad debt, but Envelope takes the guesswork out of your finances. You know what you have, you allocate what you need for spending, and with the leftover, you can do as you please.
If you’re struggling with self-control and wish you knew exactly how much you can spend without making a bunch of excel spreadsheets and taking hours to track your credit cards every month, Envelope is for you. I’ve stopped using other money management apps - I don’t need them.

Simple Resurrected
Fantastic on every level. I really, really appreciate how the developers take and act on feedback from the user base. Support is also very responsive. It’s the perfect Simple replacement and I am so looking forward to how the app and offerings will continue to grow. Here’s to Envelope Money!

Banking made simple and easy!
Absolute game changer
Within 4 days, since transferring my accounts from ONE to Envelope, I feel a hugeeee weight lifted off my shoulders, and this applies to all areas from budgeting, to bill automation, to simple things such as getting gas. I feel in complete control of my money. This is the financial zen that has been missing, I've been craving, and has been driving me mad, since Simple. I used to avoid/dread going into the ONE app, but now I am constantly looking for excuses to go to the Envelope app because I love it that much. The catch is everything is so well designed, there is little to do everyday. Ha! Your mission is working!!!I believe you have already matched Simple on the core experience and are continuing to surpass it everyday, as features expand.

Why Can’t I use my own bank?
Wanted. To try this out but can’t I’m not giving up my banks I’ve already have. Why not just import my transactions from my own bank?

There are many other applications that connect directly to your existing bank accounts and allow you to budget retroactively based on imported data. Envelope Money provides our users with banking services and the budgeting technology. This allows us to provide real-time budgeting, goals and the ability to segment actual money for our user base.
