I started knitting again after a long break… so many things I did not know how to do but because of the Tin Can app, I was able to learn them so easily and carry-on with my project of a baby sweater for my grandson. A knitting app that actually feels like an app
This is the only knitting app I’ve seen which actually uses the possibilities presented by being an app to add value - the responsive pattern format they’re developing makes everything so much simpler to follow, the how to guides attached to every step so you can look up detailed instructions for everything are great (invaluable for a beginner like me who realised through this app I’d completely misunderstood how to do an ssk!) and it’s got me constantly thinking about the next technique to try out. I’d be miles behind in learning to knit without TCK!Show lesswaughmeister

I am a new knitter, I have only made one garment before getting this app.
I love how you can select the weight of yarn, the size you are making and that it breaks it all down for you! Stuck with something? That’s fine, it’ll give you links to webpages to help!

Great app-may new a new download if getting blank screen
Great app and I love that it automatically grades the patterns for you.
I was having trouble getting past the opening screen after downloading it before the update. Even after the update, same issue. Tried deleting it and re-downloading it today and now I’m good to go. Wanted to post this in case others were having a problem.Show lessGmewstell
The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
After a long knitting break, I was thrilled to find this app. I reached out for a little help early on when the functionality wasn't intuitive for me, but after clearing that up, the app was so helpful. I especially love that I can see the directions for just the size I'm making. 🙌🏻poogyaw

I have just started using the app and it is wonderful. I like how it shows only the size you are working on. I would like, however, to be able to check off parts of a pattern when I am finished with a section.jqvan5
White screen
I downloaded the app yesterday because I’m making the Rye Light socks. I cast on yesterday and the app was working fine. I thought it was great and I was super excited that the pattern is easily accessible on my phone. Today, I open the app and it’s just a blank white screen.elaineinplane
Love the App . . but
Is there a way to stop it from timing me out on my iPad? My Knit Companion app doesn’t do that when I’m in a pattern.Aspiretoknit

We're working on a setting (you'll be able to modify) so this doesn't happen! This improvement should be released by end of January 2024 ~ EmilyInnovative and awesome
