  • Nice app, could use some improvements

This is a nice and useful app but it has some shortcomings for the way I knit. For instance, as others have noted, there’s no way to highlight rows on a chart to keep track of where you are. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to print out charts (I know the point of having an app is to use the app, but sometimes I just want to take a paper chart with me instead of working off a computer screen). It would also be great if we could access a pdf copy of the patterns so we can see all the numbers for all the sizes. If I don’t meet gauge (oh, shock and horror!) I like to see which size I would like to knit based on my gauge. Adding these features would be really helpful. Keep up the good work!

  • Amazing knitting app!

I ADORE this app. I’ve been a fan of TCK patterns for a long time and I’m so impressed with the work they’ve put into developing this app. You can keep your place throughout the patterns even for repeats and customize the size and weight of yarn to exactly what you’re knitting. I can’t wait to try it out for lace charts!

  • Great app!

*Latest update broke the app. Can’t open on iphone/ipad.*

Love this app! Currently knitting the Flax sweater and I love how inputing my size and yarn weight alters the pattern to show only the numbers relevant to me. No more mistakenly knitting the stitch counts! Easy to follow. Would like to see a row counter and a way to mark (highlight row?) where I left off. There are only a few patterns available at the moment and all are free. Can’t wait to see this selection fill out. Would love to purchase new patterns in app. It would be amazing to add other pattern makers to create a marketplace for patterns. Recommend!

  • Good start, good potential

I’m enjoying using this app. I like that it’s easy to connect to my Ravelry account. The ability to see only the stitch counts and instructions I need is fabulous. This app will definitely increase my willingness to choose Tin Can Knits patterns in the future. I hope future updates will include a highlighter and a row counter.

  • Please add this feature

This app is wonderful. I love that it tailors the directions to the size I choose. The only thing I think it lacks is a way to check off the steps once I complete them so I can keep my place. Also, for directions like “knit 4 rounds” I would love if 4 check boxes were available so I could keep my place within those specific directions. I don’t get big chunks of time to sit and knit, so being able to come back and know exactly where I am in the pattern would be ideal. Other than that, this app is great and I highly recommend it!

  • It’s ok

This app would be better if it had an integrated row counter & highlighter. I’m still going to use MyRowCounter because they have the row counters and highlighters plus it stops my phone from turning off when I have the app open
  • Amazing app and so useful for knit beginners

Just made two flax jumpers and onto a kiddy one now. The patterns are free and the helpful tips link so well into how to do difficult steps. No complaints here or from the jersey wearers! Thanks heaps
  • Love!

Bravo! Great app. So functional to have to pattern at my finger tips. I especially appreciated being able to customize the pattern features before starting and having it calculate the correct stitch counts.
I cannot tell you how many tattered up flax sweater patterns I’ve had with circled sizes and calculations up the side. This is so much better.

  • Good but wish it worked without internet connection

Wish the patters were stored locally so I could use on the airplane
  • Amazing! Useful! Efficient!

This is an amazing app. To be able to customize the pattern and view support sections along the way is ingenious. I’ve followed Tin Can for a long time and this app only solidifies how great an operation they are!
