I’ve been having trouble getting back into knitting, and this app was just what I needed. I love the way it walks you through the pattern and adjusts based on your yarn weight and selection of options! It’s a simple, very smart design and guarantees I’ll be knitting more TCK patterns.Crowyhead

I was excited to see this to start my first sweater without having to circle all the numbers for my size. But this morning, after finishing the collar, I was looking at the pdf of the pattern and I’ve found numerous places where the app lists different numbers from the pdf (cast on for collar and pick up for yoke). So disappointing to have to start over. I hope this gets fixed!Show lessHobbitt_mn

So glad you've given the app a try! We've re-graded some of the patterns in the app to add all 3 weights, and made a few adjustments, so the current PDFs and the app patterns are not an exact match. We'll be re-issuing the PDFs in the next couple of months to match the app. They're BOTH right (tech edited, numerically correct), but once you begin, stick with either the app OR the PDF, don't try to jump between them. Knitting apps are often disappointing. Not this one so far. Only just downloaded it, but it navigates so well. Only gave it 4 stars coz I can’t manage my paid for patterns here. Looking forward to seeing this develop and grow. Well done Team TCK!!!Gollywhoa
Easy to use, good info
I already loved The Simple Collection so it’s great to have these quality free patterns available on my phone! I used the app to look up a tutorial on short rows for my current WIP - very handy. The app is easy to use, well laid out for comfortable reading, and navigation is clear. Recommend!spinner&knitter&weaver
Excellent App
So far I haven’t ran into any bugs. Allows you to just follow your size and allows you to have multiple projects going. Am really excited to see how they integrate their other designs as I have several of their patterns.rerec

Having the free patterns on the app is just fantastic, and I’m so grateful that the designers have gone to such effort to include so many sizes, yarn weights, fits etc. You don't have to wade through every size to knit from a pattern, as it will just show you the info you personally need.

I love it
This app is such a great idea! You pick the yarn weight and the size of garment and it tells you exactly the right number of stitches without cluttering up the pattern with counts and measurements that don’t apply to you. And if you don’t know what an abbreviation means, you just tap it, and a second tap takes you to a tutorial that shows you how to do the stitch!
