I started at my local yogaworks studio before the pandemic just to start exercising. I was surprisingly pleased whenever I went online during the pandemic—I discovered new teachers, new types of classes & an on demand “ schedule” that really worked for my lifestyle. I miss some of my fave teachers in the switch to the new platform but love Elena Chung’s therapeutics practice and Tamika Caston-Miller is one of my gentle go-tos. keep it up!!
I used Yogaworks a ton during the pandemic. It saved me. But I have to say the app is a huge turn off. I find myself not wanting to go in it because it’s so hard to find anything and distinguish love from recorded classes. I wish the library of recorded classes and the schedule of upcoming live classes were very distinct and easy to browse. Pleaaaaase redesign this app!! I probably won’t renew when my membership ends for this reason. There are so many very well designed yoga apps out there, it’s really doing a disservice to your company and your community.
I love YogaWorks! The variety of styles of classes is so helpful. The instructors are fantastic. Both of my yoga studios closed and it’s nearly impossible to find local classes that aren’t hot hot hot and very demanding. I admit that there are things I miss since they changed platforms. Live classes via zoom really feel live when you can see people from all over the country and my favorite instructor left. But with that being said, I’ve tried several online yoga platforms and this one is as close to an in person vibe as I’ve found.
I love yogaworks for their complete offerings all in one place. As they continue to grow, their app keeps getting better. Some features I hope they will have soon include showing me which videos I’ve completed, and an easier way to search for specific lengths of workouts.
I’ve been practicing online with YogaWorks for about two years (and practicing overall for about 20). The instructors are top notch, offering guidance on fundamentals and options to make a practice what one needs on any given day - from the gentler to more energetic and strength building side. I also love the range of personalities. Everyone is encouraging and supportive, but there’s variation on the theme and I enjoy spending time with a handful of folks regularly. I also love having access to new content on a regular basis.
I am so relieved that all of the classes that were missing after the platform transition are now available! It took a while, but it seems nothing is missing now. I’ve been a subscriber since day one of the yogaworks online launch a decade ago. I’m not thrilled with the massive price spike. I think there should still be an option for those of us that only want OnDemand content (not live classes and not all the new live classes OnDemand). I’m pregnant and going to have a newborn, so I don’t want to pay extra for a bunch of content I’m not going to use. Please make this an option for a lower payment tier. Also, PLEASE bring back “recently viewed” classes! This is super important to many of us, being able to see the last time we practiced any given video. I really don’t like that our view history went away. If you can bring back playlists as well, that would be really nice….

We're working to improve this for the YogaWorks community!I am very new to yoga. I was referred by a dear friend of mine. I am so glad she recommended YogaWorks. There are so many classes to choose from and I especially like that I can search by the duration for classes as I increase my ability. Thank you very much.

It is a steal with so many great teachers and classes for less than $30 a month.

Yogaworks has really taken user feedback seriously and updated its new app to make finding classes so much easier. The teachers and instruction have always been top notch, and now it’s easy to find and enjoy the classes I want. And I like knowing that any continued feedback will be considered and acted on.

And yes, we are working to create a saved playlist feature as well!I’m a graduate of the NYC YogaWorks teacher training and have been a loyal practitioner since 2008. It’s so disappointing to see this platform redesign that renders my paid subscription useless. Finding what you’re looking for is near impossible. You can no longer search by the type of class or body focus (shoulders, hips, etc.). All my favorite/saved classes are gone and even when I search by the specific instructor they aren’t listed. It would be great if YogaWorks could provide an update on timing for the improved functionality it promises in these review responses. Would give zero stars if possible.

Thanks for your feedback! Currently, you can search for teachers, class styles, class length and key words by typing them into the search bar. We are working on adding additional filters. You will see a teacher category now and more to come, making it easier to search for classes.
