Great Idea, Terrible Execution
The app works most of the time to set the heating temperature but that’s about it. Timers don’t seem to activate when set, I constantly get locked out of the app and need to press the check, overall the app is almost useless.BryanPruett
Useless app
App works 1 out of 10 times. Do yourself a favor and delete the app. Go old school and manually control. Save yourself the frustration.JJChambers1961
Disappointed
Don’t expect consistency or ease of use with this app. The schedule feature chooses when it wants to work and when it doesn’t. Sometimes I can turn it on using the app, sometimes I can’t. Such a shame that this product was marketed up for making the product easy to use and it is anything but that.kip2626
Do not download this app.
After setting up the app and using it for the first time, the app wants to have full access to your photo library. No way on the planet that’s happening. I have deleted the app and the blanket is going back to the store!
Star Elite, Inc. Support Arm of Sunbeam Products is the Worse
We had the worse experience with Star Elite, Inc., a support arm of Sunbeam Products that makes heating pads and blanket. It has been the worse we have ever experience in the industry. We have tried to reach out to them numerous times for over three months without a resolution. We are very disappointed in putting so much effort in without any progress or communication.
Do not expect any support for warranty product if you ever buy from Sunbeam Products. If you have experience the same, please share. Lost our hard earned money on a company that does not support their product.Show lessHill Country RZR
Easy
Set up was easy to follow using the manual. I have been able to use my app to turn on the heat several times with no problems. I turn it off at the base controller. Love it!!Shannon and Mike
Works perfectly
All I can say is these reviews must all be user error because I have this app working as it should on 3 devices. It helps to read the manual and explore the app. Every issue listed in the reviews is user error. The app works just fine.Bug🐞❤️🐞
Doesn’t work
App shows bed heater id on when it’s not. Can’t turn it on manually because it just doesn’t let you, even though the app shows that option. And if it happens to work manually, you can’t turn it on to anything above a level 4 unless you press the check mark on the actual device making the app option completely useless. This is the 5th night I’ve had this and the 5th night I got into a cold bed. Returning it since I only bought for wifi optionShow lessMeshy Pants
Ignore the bad reviews
I just have to assume the issues people are having are user error because the app does everything it’s supposed to do. Turns on the blanket (though I recommend a schedule for a warm bed at night when you get in) and allows you to control the temp and timer and all that. Even allows multiple people to control the blanket at a time.
Maybe the bad reviews are from an earlier build of the app because i don’t have any app crashes or freezes and my blanket always turns on with the selected schedule.Show lessDoes not work

Old app way better
We used to have the WiFi mattress pad heater for our queen size bed. Bought a few years ago. Used the old Sunbeam app, never had any issues. We recently upgraded to king size bed and got new WiFi mattress pad heater. It was incompatible with the old app, had to download this S2 bedding app. It is horrible. Cannot turn bed heater on, set schedules, timer etc. Can only use wired remote on mattress pad heater. Bring back the old app!!Show lessmadisonr28
