THE APP!!
The app ALWAYS crashes when it’s time to end the rental. Then you call Customer Service and you end up holding for the longest time, and the only way to get reimbursed for that holding time is to ask for it. Now, they supposedly have better software, but the app still freezes and whoever the app developer is needs to be fired, point blank; the company is good about refunds once they investigate your situation, and they are good at communicating with you by way of email, but God forbid if you can’t end the rental and you have to wait until the next business day for someone to come to the office to read your email because all that time you’re still being charged, and now they’ve added TAX to the fees and other little penalties. They have some new cars, a fleet for 2023 and they ride wonderful, as well as the older ones. There’s never any problems that I can remember with the car itself, but it’s always the app., even with new management and a new overhaul , the app is still trash! That’s all. I could go on and on considering some of the bad instances I’ve had in the middle of the night standing, holding on forever waiting , or early in the morning trying to end the rental and standing, waiting, & holding, as I run late for work and forced to abandon the car as the ticker continues charging $.20 by the minute…PLUS TAX.Show lessDeveloper Response

The app is absolutely terrible. They have made all of these “upgrades” that have downgraded the app in its entirety. There are daily to weekly issues, the customer service team can never do anything other than raise a ticket, I’m often overcharged because I can’t end my rental so I have to be overcharged then wait over a week to receive a refund, and the list goes on and on. I have spent THOUSANDS with this company and I can say the process used to be so simple and easy with little to no issues. I want this to work so badly — I live nearby and I keep trying to use it. Literally every time I have ever used the app I have had to call into customer service for support because it doesn’t do the basic functions required for renting the car.
Not like the fancy bonus features don’t work — the location services can’t tell if I’m near the car, the status of cars isn’t updated, it freezes and won’t let you navigate to any other page, it gets stuck starting or ending a ride so you end up going over your time limit.
Usually it’s a combination of needing to delete and re-download the app, or the service person overriding it remotely. But this time I waited over 20 minutes for a customer service person and just gave up!
Please please please can you all just make this work like at the bare minimum level?Show less
