Service request ignored
I made 4 service request over 18 months ago regarding several street lights that have been out. These lights had already been inoperable for several months before I made the request. The service request are still labeled open and no one has come to fix any of the lights on Los Angeles St. In Downtown LA. I spoke with some city workers in person about 8 months ago that were fixing some lights around the corner whom said that wasn't their jurisdiction but that they would make sure the appropriate team got the message. They said that people steal the copper wires from the lights andtheys why they don't work even after they are fixed supposedly it happened again. I could make a list of possible resolutions to this but whats the point if the request are to be ignored?!Show lessIncorrect Phone Numbers • Remove Need To Call
I see two traffic signals that are completely dark. When I go to report them in the app, it leads you to a separate page that list all the situations where you will need to call the emergency center. When you hit the button to call, the greeting says that it's only for parking enforcement or needing to request parking enforcement. So the phone number is incorrect, or the greeting is incorrect. You all need to remove the need to make phone calls. We're driving there's gotta be an easier way.Show lessStrong Step in the Right Direction
MyLA311 is a strong step in the right direction towards creating a more responsive city. It’s a terrific and user friendly App to report problems and issues to the City of Los Angeles. I recently reported an issue. A service request # was generated and used to track the progress of the reported issue. Furthermore, email updates are sent as well. Most importantly, my issue was resolved within 48 hours.Show less
