  • THE APP!!

    The app ALWAYS crashes when it’s time to end the rental. Then you call Customer Service and you end up holding for the longest time, and the only way to get reimbursed for that holding time is to ask for it. Now, they supposedly have better software, but the app still freezes and whoever the app developer is needs to be fired, point blank; the company is good about refunds once they investigate your situation, and they are good at communicating with you by way of email, but God forbid if you can’t end the rental and you have to wait until the next business day for someone to come to the office to read your email because all that time you’re still being charged, and now they’ve added TAX to the fees and other little penalties. They have some new cars, a fleet for 2023 and they ride wonderful, as well as the older ones. There’s never any problems that I can remember with the car itself, but it’s always the app., even with new management and a new overhaul , the app is still trash! That’s all. I could go on and on considering some of the bad instances I’ve had in the middle of the night standing, holding on forever waiting , or early in the morning trying to end the rental and standing, waiting, & holding, as I run late for work and forced to abandon the car as the ticker continues charging $.20 by the minute…PLUS TAX.

  • TERRIBLE TERRIBLE APP.

    The app is absolutely terrible. They have made all of these “upgrades” that have downgraded the app in its entirety. There are daily to weekly issues, the customer service team can never do anything other than raise a ticket, I’m often overcharged because I can’t end my rental so I have to be overcharged then wait over a week to receive a refund, and the list goes on and on. I have spent THOUSANDS with this company and I can say the process used to be so simple and easy with little to no issues. Whoever is in charge of the updates of the app is doing a terrible job and making the company look like it is terribly ran.

  • Great Idea, Terrible App

    I want this to work so badly — I live nearby and I keep trying to use it. Literally every time I have ever used the app I have had to call into customer service for support because it doesn’t do the basic functions required for renting the car.

    Not like the fancy bonus features don’t work — the location services can’t tell if I’m near the car, the status of cars isn’t updated, it freezes and won’t let you navigate to any other page, it gets stuck starting or ending a ride so you end up going over your time limit.

    Usually it’s a combination of needing to delete and re-download the app, or the service person overriding it remotely. But this time I waited over 20 minutes for a customer service person and just gave up!

    Please please please can you all just make this work like at the bare minimum level?

  • Good idea, awful service

    There’s ALWAYS an issue and its extremely frustrating. Im not sure they read the reviews or even care at all because every time they “update” the app it gets worse…and it was already the worst app Ive ever used. Ive been a user for like 5 years and it gets progressively worse. I try to be patient as Ive been a loyal customer for a long time, but Im about to quit because they recently increased their prices 50% for worse service. i just dont get it.

  • The negative reviews are real

    As a previous reviewer posted, the IDEA of this app is awesome. Blink Mobility? Not getting it done. The app development looks like they went about 85% of the way to finish and said “ehh we’ll leave it here it’s alright”. The people who you speak with on the phone (every SINGLE time you rent because there’s ALWAYS an issue ((not exaggerating))) are mostly pleasant but it’s clear they’re working CS for multiple companies cause they have to ask you “is this blink mobility?”
    I’d pay the fairly high hourly rates if the app and cars actually functioned the way they should.
    A shame, all it takes is one company to come in and do it better than Blink currently is doing it and they will surely go out of business.
    Overall not worth the inconvenience.

  • I wish it worked

    I have been using this app/service for a few years after my car was stolen.

    I haven’t been able to replace my car and moved to a walkable area. So I use this for emergencies or big pick ups - and wow is every time I have to use this a hassle. If it’s not the app glitching and I have to redownload it, it’s calling help because something isn’t working.

    I want it to be so much better because it’s such a great premise. They recently raised the fees so I’ve already used it less. The service has only gotten worse over the years so I don’t understand how they can charge more.

  • Great service, terrible app

    Service is great, car was ok (a bit smelly), prices are reasonable. App is garbage. Friction is too high; it makes you take pics of the car but keeps freezing in the middle. And ending the ride can bug out or freeze making you retake all the photos. Of course, you’re paying for the time while fighting their app. It took me almost 20 min to end a ride, and had to go through the flow twice since it froze at the last step. And yes I’m on an IPhone 15 pro.

  • If not a scam it’s close.

    I paid for an hour ride got the car back and charged with 10 min left. Then app wouldn’t let me end the ride. I spent about 8min trying to troubleshoot before calling CS explained the situation and after keeping me on hold for about 5 minutes she ended the ride on her end but refused to refund the “extension fee”, apparently charging me while I’m on hold with her. It’s been four days and still haven’t gotten this resolved. It’s almost a comical level of mismanagement and disinterest in customer satisfaction.

  • App didn’t work when I arrived to pick up the car!

    I decided to give this a go, because I was in need of a car for a 2 hour gig. I rode my bike 8 miles to pick up the car then was going to go to the gig right after. Well…I arrived and the app kept crashing…the. I would restart the app it would state there were no cars available…this went on until my phone died. I waited there for 45 minutes. I would press a button and nothing would happen. Anyway, I didn’t go to work and lost $200 basically. I have never had so many problems with an app before. The idea is great and really low in cost to use, but what is that worth if the app doesn’t function properly?!

  • LOCKED OUT OF THE RENTAL AND OUT OF THE APP

    the app keeps crashing which is VERY unsafe especially for women customers. I have been on hold trying to get ahold of the customer service for 1 hour and i’m at school in a timed parking lot.

    I can’t get ahold of ANYONE on the customer service side and my things are in the car. I am forced to abandon the car? in the middle of the reservation I had for 2 more hours?! this is COMPLETELY Unexceptable and extremely unsafe for women customers.
