  • A Daily Planner Plus More

The recommendations are a delightful touch. It's like having a personal assistant. Just hope there's a family plan for the subscription soon.

    Developer Response

  • Promising but Room for Growth

Day Flow introduces some innovative features, especially the voice command planning. However, the emphasis on a premium subscription for some basic functions can be off-putting. I hope to see a more balanced approach in future versions.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback, Maxwell Brewerx! We're glad you find our features innovative. The premium subscription pricing is partly due to the costs associated with integrating top-tier technologies like ChatGPT-4, which allows us to provide a first-class personal assistant experience. However, we're actively looking into revising our subscription model and aim to make it more accessible in the future. Your insights are invaluable as we strive for growth and better user experience!
  • Voice Command is a Game-Changer!

The ability to simply speak and have my day planned is transformative. A few minor glitches here and there, but overall a solid app. Eagerly awaiting further updates.

  • No free trial pay wall

Every app I have ever purchased I has a free trial before I can make a purchase decision. Since this app only had a paywall I immediately deleted the app. I will not buy something that I have not tried out and see if meets my needs. - Update the developer is right I guess there is a free version but in order to find it there is a small X on the top of the pay wall page. I was not impressed with the free version basically all is is a text to speech to set reminders and you can do that free already on any iPhone. If they put other intelligent capabilities it could be a game changer. I will up my rating to two stars now.

    Developer Response

Thank you for updating your review. While iPhones do have speech-to-text capabilities, our assistant is designed to understand multiple tasks in one go, which is unique. Additionally, it's more than just setting reminders. It offers helpful advice, suggests dinner recipes, recommends books, proposes movies to watch, and so much more. We aim to offer an enriched planning experience, and we're always working on enhancing our features. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll give our evolving app another chance in the future.
  • Needs a way to enter info without speaking!

I really, really want to love this app. It’s everything I look for in a planner - except - that there is no way to manually enter tasks! As a professional musician who spends a lot of time thinking about what I need to do while I’m on a crowded subway car, during a rehearsal, recording session or performance. I need a quick way to jot down what needs to happen because I can’t make sound!

I have used fantastical for years because you can type things out as a quick sentence instead of scrolling through menus for item entry. I really wish this app had the same.

    For example typing:
“Remind me to buy milk at 7pm”
    Or
    “Rehearsal tomorrow 4-6pm”

Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to be able to just speak. But sometimes that just won’t work!

Additional wishlist in case the developers read this:

    1. Integration with reminders app
    2. Sub tasks
    3. Task “inbox” for stuff that needs to be done but you aren’t sure when.
    4. Google maps integration (for adding locations to calendar events!)
    5. Widget and Apple Watch integration

This is a beautiful and well designed app. It gives my ADHD brain all the dopamine. I’m hoping one day it will be the one app to rule them all. Unfortunately, it’s just not there yet for my needs. I’ll be checking back in with this one in another few months to see if it’s ready yet!

  • Please make Lock Screen widget!

Very cool app and helpful with king me focused. I have a difficult time with getting distracted as soon as I unlock my phone.. could you please made a widget for the Lock Screen so I can make calendar events on the fly?

    Developer Response

Thank you for the positive feedback! We're thrilled to hear how our app helps you stay focused. A widget for the Lock Screen is a fantastic idea for quick calendar entries, and we'll definitely consider it for our future updates. Stay tuned and thanks for choosing Day Flow!
  • I’m really liking this

Just downloaded so I’ll probably update this I enjoy how most of the app doesn’t need to be behind a paywall (tho I’ll prolly still buy it if I like it) Some of the things I’ve been looking for is a way to organize my tasks on a time table (unknown) and a way to make custom times for tasks to repeat (such as 8 days) [seems to be behind a pay wall] Anyway I guess some things I wouldn’t mind being behind a paywall is quality of life options such as customizing the app appearance

I also don’t see a way to create tasks manually

    Developer Response

Thanks for giving Day Flow a spin! We've designed the app to primarily use the assistant for creating tasks - it's fast and saves you time! We're constantly evolving our assistant, so it gets smarter with every update. We hear you on customizations, and your feedback is invaluable. If you've got any questions or need help, don't hesitate to drop us a line at hello@42apps.io. Cheers to organized days ahead!
  • First day

This app seems legit!! I need organization for sure so that don’t forget stuff. Having ADHD, this is a game changer so far. Will keep everyone updated

    Developer Response

Awesome to hear! Thanks for giving Day Flow a shot. We're here to help you stay on track.
  • Good start

It looks like this is a newer app and there's is some good engagement from the developer so I'll come back to this review and keep the app on my phone for now here in my initial impressions: - AI creates events but doesn't sync them back into your calendar from what I can see. - Once it does this, I'd want to see if it can handle a request to create it for a specific calendar (work, home, personal, family, etc) - For how this app is branded I would consider the above "just expected" - I couldn't see anything in the plus plan that (to my eyes) isn't already possible without it. I'm probably wrong but the point is it wasn't apparent. - after asking it to make an event it gave me a preview of what it was about to do but I was surprised that I couldn't hit the button to talk back to the AI that was right in front of me. My option was to save or not save what it was suggesting. kind of feels like the point is to give users the ability to continuously engage.
Personally, I don't think it's a great product strategy to try to also become a replacement for anyone's existing to do list application. That is also a crowded product landscape that has already been refined pretty well. I would rather this just get the AI right and let me roll my own to do list manager maybe have integration options instead. fine-tuning how the GPT backend integrates with the application flow is an interesting enough problem to solve to merit this applications usefulness.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the detailed feedback! We're actively working on improving calendar sync, and your point about specifying which calendar to sync to is well-taken. We'll also enhance the clarity around our plus plan's benefits and ensure better continuous engagement with our AI. While we don't aim to replace existing to-do list apps, we do hope to provide a unique, integrated experience with our AI. Stay tuned for updates, and we truly appreciate your insights.
  • Not Bad, Wish It Had More

Not a bad to do app, but I give it three stars since the AI doesn’t always work properly and will sometimes overlap to do items. Wish it had a feature where it could shift around my schedule since you have to do that manually right now.

    Developer Response

Thanks for your review! We get it, overlapping tasks are a pain. Good news though - we're already working on auto-schedule adjustments. Stay tuned for the update soon!
