  • Excellent but Unbalanced

This game has great mechanics. It has a good balance between rng & strategy. The more you learn about different abilities & synergies & how they work, the more you realize how the deep yet simple the game is.

The problem lies within the balancing between the heroes & enemies. A lot of the heroes don’t do enough damage imo & too many enemies have summoning capabilities which can almost guarantee an end to your run. Even with the perfect team & great items, you can get overwhelmed really quickly. I think this is such an issue because the little minions that bigger enemies spawn do so much damage. The skeletons have to be the worst ones as they do 4 damage which is A LOT in this game. I think enemies that are summoned should do 2 damage at best & I also believe that enemies shouldn’t be able to spawn new ones at all as there are too many in the game.

Besides the balancing issues, this game has a good amount of modes & heroes too keep the game fresh. I’d recommend buying the full game despite the balancing issues.

  • Doesn’t work

    Won’t even load
  • Depth, replayability, fun

Incredible game. Don’t let the basic looking pixel graphics fool you, this is a very polished game with tons of depth. Addictive and replayable.
  • Addicting but rigid character upgrades

This game is easy to pick up and hard to put down. The gameplay loop is insanely addicting and the items and pretty varied and interesting. That said, the character upgrades are sometimes downgrades in terms of stats and abilities and force you into a certain class.

For example, spellblade is an interesting mid-tier orange class that became even better with the 1-pip cantrip item, but could only be upgraded into an archer for the final upgrade. It’d be nice to have an option to either upgrade the stats of the current character OR choose a different class. A high level dagger-wielding rogue that throws daggers into the back row and specializes in poison would also be a nice option, as orange seems to only become archers. The wizard specializes in strengthening others, but what about AoR fireballs?

  • Solid addictive little game

I literally could not sleep last night, whenever I closed my eyes I was still playing Slice & Dice. A simple premise with incredible depth and nonstop creative designs. Play it to kill time or to lose hours. Highly recommend for any lovers of turn based roguelikes.
  • One of the best rogue likes since slay the spire

Truly amazing game. I hope you’ve done well from it and you deserve it. Put many hours across iOS and PC and plan to continue to enjoy it for a long time. My wife has been seeing me play it and thought she would like it too - Currently watching Northernlion’s pilot video to get her into it. Another fan seems to be incoming. Thank you for your excellent game!

  • Free version slays, paid version too

Seriously well done game. I had the free version for about a month and opted for the paid version just to support the artist/dev. Both versions are great, the game is thoughtful and seamless. I especially like that there’s no clunkiness with loading from where you left off, as with so many games. Keep on rockin and keep on rollin.

  • Great game but pointless?

Love everything about the game but what to do after beating the game on normal and hard?
  • Please Add Steam Acievements

Really hope the dev reads this!
Great game! Please add the achievements. Pretty please??
  • Good stuff

A great game. The interactions between the items and curses and heroes make this game so replay-able. The graphics are cute and it doesn’t drain my battery too much. Not sure if this makes sense, but the game isn’t *annoying*. The graphics don’t get in the way of the game, the animation is simple and can be sped up. Highly recommend.
