Disappointing
Worked fine till 4th Dec since when I can’t open the baubles. Other people have obvs had the same problem so needs sorting asap instead of just suggesting we pay another £7. No help at all to message JL just suggest we try and sort it ourselves - never had a problem in all the years I have been getting the advent calendar.Show lessJuppy57
Very cute but only a few free days
This is a very adorable and interactive advent calendar. However, you only get the first few days for free. After that, you have to buy the app for the rest of its content for, if I remember correctly, $7.00. 😔WolfGirl29
Activating calendar
You need to look at the email you got with your calendar. There is a link in the email, click on it to activate. When I went the activation number was already filled in so I just needed to click on activate and it’s all good to goZzzsssrrry
Disappointed and not worth the money.
Every year I look forward to the Jacquie Lawson advent calendar. This year I was super excited because it is extraordinarily similar to Downton Abbey. This is a disappointing and frankly boring advent calendar. There are clitches. There is really nothing to look at outside. Nothing to explore. Very little to decorate inside and nothing to decorate at all on the outside. The animals are too easy to find. I can’t imagine purchasing the 2024 calendar. Very poor this year
Having managed to download the calendar and open the first three windows, I have been unable to open any successive windows. The app continually asks me to log in using email address and password, when I tap on the relevant dated bauble, but when I enter these details it tells me they are wrong. This is despite using the same email and password successfully on the website.
I am thoroughly disappointed this year and cannot recommend either the calendar app nor the after sales service.Show lessBudpuss
My gift recipients cannot proceed without spending a further £7
They live abroad and this is embarrassing. Are we doing something wrong? I had no idea that they would have to pay anything. This is once they reach door 4.
If this is the case, I will never buy the advent calendars again. This has been aggravating from start to finish. I seem to have paid £18 for not very much. Will you respond? I cannot find the answer in FAQs.Show lessGranny U.K.
Not as good as last year
I so loved last year’s Advent calendar, and I was excited for this year’s. But, sadly, it’s really a dud. Instead of a fun and engaging village square, we get a bunch of trees in front of a distant manor house. The zany find-a-gnome daily activity is gone. And the activities just aren’t any fun.
