The recording and transcription is great. It picks up conversations and meetings perfect. However taking the transcript and meeting notes is really eh. The summaries aren't great at all but if u paste the transcript from plaud into chatgpt directly and say to create meeting notes with the transcript it's amazing. I can't imagine why that part in the app would be so far inferior when it's using the exact same transcript and toolset and no fancy prompt engineering. The potential is definitely there! The hard part is amazing already!

We are committed to continuous improvement and appreciate your patience and support.Three things. First, the app crashes when you try to touch the menu button or when you delete a recording. Second, summaries are not what they could be. They often don’t go into sufficient detail and I would like the ability to select whether or not to use emojis because they are helpful in some places and annoying others. third: there isn’t a way to pause the recording as you make it which to me seems like an oversight given that it’s a basic feature in most recording apps and products; having the pause button would make it a lot easier to get a good transcript. And I guess there is one more thing. There used to be a diary summary option where you could have a narrative from the first person perspective. that’s one reason I got this product in the first place but I don’t see that capability anymore. I hope you bring it back.

Any further questions, please feel free to contact us.With a plaud, I've had no big problems with the app. The interface is nice looking and easy to navigate, and I've encountered no crashing or bugs with the interface when it connects to my plaud. However, I do have one problem about using this app, sometimes I don't use plaud for a long time and the app doesn't let me use my own recorded audio, which sometimes prevents me from using up my transcription hours!
Really great. If I could use it on my mac it would be perfect.
as I always say, we should try something new
The device is well made and the sound quality is great, but the app is terrible and leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I find myself using the device less than I’d like because of the app. The AI capabilities are lacking when compared to other AI apps like FathomAI or ChatGPT (great summaries if you paste in the recording transcript). Also, I’ve had a few AI summaries come back in Japanese even though I recorded in English, and only ever in English. 4/5 on the device, 1/5 on the App.
