I got the plaud in the kickstarter campaign- I like the tech and I think it works well. I think the summary option could be improved - hopefully the new upgrade will do that. Pausing a recording and resuming would be a great feature - like the native voice recorder in iPhone. Keep improving!

Lots of parts of the app (settings) are in a different language. The app overall freezes all the time for simple actions. I wish the app has a folder structure so notes could be organized too not just tags.

Constantly looses connection to recorder, and freezes.
With the purchase of a device you should really get a 5 or 10 year free unlimited subscription. especially this early on in the process of their release. we are the advocates of your device and I’d be more than happy to tell people how happy I am with it, but currently with a saas billing model, I yet to see the monthly cost outweigh the benefits

I’ve used Audiopen forever but always needed an easy way to start a recording before I forget (ADHD). I was hoping that this would be the dream version of AudioPen. The app isn't intuitive at all, it's actually quite bland for something that has a $200 device. The summaries and mind maps are pointless (How is a 30 minute conversation a paragraph summary?), the "style" choices are lacking (AudioPen has a ton plus you can prompt your own), basically every reason you'd want the Plaud device is ruined by the massive lack of attention to the app. Currently, I download the transcriptions from the app and run them through AudioPen lol. Maybe y'all should check it out for some improvement ideas.

The latest app crashes too consistently to allow me to redeem my prepaid code. Literally can’t open my profile without it crashing.

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time! Spend an hour trying to set it up only to repeatedly get failures. I doubt it would have worked anyway.

Sometimes I want to capture the entire conversation and export it. It’s extremely painful to have to manually delete the timings from the transcript.
