The new version is fantastic, with a sleek and clean interface. The transcription and summarization features work really well. I'm amazed by the ability to choose different summary templates for various meeting types - the formats for discussions, consultations, and more are incredibly tailored and I've never seen an app do this so well before. It's incredibly useful.
The Plaud Note is a game-changer! Its seamless integration with ChatGPT for transcription and summarization, crystal-clear audio quality, and impressive battery life make it a must-have for professionals. The user-friendly app and innovative features set it apart from other voice recorders. Highly recommended!
This app has so much potential being waisted. The AI is nothing short of difficult to use and also not accurate. The AI does not list any of the notes in order typically and doesn’t go into detail. For example if it hears a cooking recipe for bread it will hear the instructions and then relay them as such. “•Put the bread in the oven, ensure even distribution of heat.” This would be more practical to say this •”place bread in ceramic pot and place in the oven at 375 degrees to bake”
This product has so much potential to save time. Build lists and protocol. Can integrate actions in to it like if you're heard saying “PLAUD please schedule this on June 1st” it will ask if you want to do that during the transcription process. Help salesmen everywhere evaluate their approach with people after the fact. This can do so much more but it’s not! They have a lot of work to do. I’ll change this review when my needs are more equally met. I hope the developers don’t give up on this billion dollar idea

One big thing for me though is if there could be a dark mode, that would be amazing just cause my phones on dark mode and then the app is so bright not a big deal if possible

Update following developer response to this review: developer suggests nothing helpful and directs me to the unhelpful email while saying customer service is currently overwhelmed. Why are they overwhelmed? Because the product has that many problems? Sounds about right. Still waiting for a reply to my email and have tried pairing with another device without success. I’d call it a paperweight but on the plus side, it is actually a nice lightweight device.

It ruins the whole experience and makes it like a waste of time to even try to use this device.
Today there was a firmware update for the device. It literally took two hours to update the firmware through the app. Insanity. And yet there’s no changes and the app still stinks and ruins everything.
I can not believe that you’re not working daily on this app to make it even reasonably better to start.
No comments from the developer or anything. It’s like they don’t care.
I was hoping this would be as cool as advertised but it’s just another loser of a product thanks to the App. Too bad.
