agreeing with big balla shot calla

i previously have been eligible for the cash advance on this app but i deleted my account. i wanted to make a new account and was told by the same extremely dry response chat bot (i hope it’s a bot bc if its a human that’s just sucky lol) but i had the same exact issue with my ssn. idk if thats bc it was previously linked to my old account or what but when you contact support which is extremely hard to figure out how to do considering if you google anything with the word “moneyapp” all it brings up is cashapp support. anyway when u contact “support” it’s that extremely dry chat bot that basically just tells you “too bad so sad.” like helloooo??? you could at least have a customer support email so you can talk to a person and even more importantly you could offer some form of a solution to the problem. makes me think this app is underdeveloped and unreliable especially if you’re in a pinch. two stars. would be one star if i hadn’t been able to get an advance with my previous account.

Do not sign up

I downloaded this app and as soon as I put my social security and birthday and personal information apparently they couldn’t verify my identity which I find it to be very sketchy because even customer service don’t even help you out on answering questions like why is the reason. I think they’re scammers and just want to get your personal information for whatever reason. I am never trying another app honestly I’ll learn to manage my money better. Also for people who experienced this same issue I recommend to go dispute this kind of things just to be on the safe side and provide them with everything you can from this app because it’s not doesn’t sit or feel right. Like I’m not an alien air anything how can’t they prove my identity with my personal info? Anyways I do not recommend to even download it at all. Stay safe yall 🙏🏻

Non-existent customer service

I’ve used this app with success for about a year or so. In the last 6 months I’ve had my debit card information compromised twice and so I had to add new card info to my account. I’ve also had a new card issued just due to expiration date in the last year as well. So I’ve had to update my card info in the app. When I tried to enter the info for my new card, it says you’re only allowed to have 3 cards linked, but there is no way to delete an expired card. I have reached out to the chat which is the only means of communication several times. It’s an AI chatbot that asks the same things over and over, doesn’t understand my question which is simply how do I delete an expired linked card, and won’t connect me to an actual human who can understand and help. I’m so frustrated that I finally just closed the account. Chat bots are fine but not if they can’t help or connect you to a real person when the issue is beyond their capabilities. This app WAS great, as long as you don’t have a problem that isn’t generic.

NO HUMAN SUPPORT!!

I have never been so frustrated with an app. There is NO human support option. The chat bot says if it can’t help you, it will connect you to support. Don’t waste your time trying. I went back and forth for almost 30 minutes trying to get connected and / or get the bot to understand my issue, but it kept repeating the same thing over and over and did the same when asking to connect to a human. There is no support email listed on the website. Might as well not even have the chat bot option. It was a waste of my time trying to communicate with it, and a waste of their time creating it. Great example of why humans are needed in these roles! I would give ZERO stars if I could.

Advance History Reset?

My last 3 advances were at the $250 max, one of the highest payouts of all the advance apps.

Went to pull an advance today and the app was loading EVERYTHING slow. Every page took 30sec+ to load. Finally got to the advance page and I got denied for any type of advance. Decided to give it some time and I tried again when the app started responding normally, this time I was approved…for a measly $25!!

I feel like yall had a backend issue and opted to reset my advance history. Was there an issue and can this be fixed?

Hello muhkida, thank you so much for your feedback. Lower approval amounts can be a result of several different factors: late payments in the past and/or information your bank has provided based on your most recent application. However, based on those factors you would have received a denial, but due to your previous history with us we wanted to still offer a $25 advance. It is possible to regain access to larger approvals in the future with good repayment history and current bank information with your next application.

Denial

I’ve been trying to get an advance for a while now and I’m always denied. They don’t show any of the eligible information as far as supported banks, required income or anything like that. I’ll get to the page to enter my next deposit amount and date and then I’ll swipe down and agree to pay it back on the date it shows. Then it’ll start loading and then it shows that I’m not approved and I have been trying to contact support to see what the problem is with my account and is it my bank or income or whatever it might be. Maybe support will see this and respond back with a possible solution.

This App-Nothing but Trouble!!

My review is only 1 star. I’ve been a customer for 4 months and have had NO problems getting a loan through them. The last repayment I did was last Thursday 10/10. It said on Friday i could reloan. Well that was a lie!!!!! It’s now telling me “we’re sorry we can not extend this loan right now. Wait until after the 1st!
Again I’ve never had any issues until the last 2 weeks. And I can not even get ahold of ANYONE for customer support!!! The chat just keeps telling me the same thing and email repeats itself as well. What a joke now!! And don’t come back saying that it’s because of low balance etc. No I didn’t have a low balance. I would have if I didn’t borrow money from a friend. I would have been negative!! Kinda irritated with this app! Would be nice if it was fixed!

Scam

One of the worst cash advance apps I have ever tried. I can’t get approved for one to save my life, I need a cash advance I need the money that’s the whole purpose of this app is to give people cash advances why can’t I get one? My bank account js well established, I never had my account overdrawn. What criteria do you need to meet to get a cash advance make 6 figures a year? Absolutely ridiculous, this should be taken down off the App Store and whoever is running this fraud should be locked up behind bars. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody, you’re better off walking down the street and finding yourself change on the sidewalk then getting a ‘cash advance’ is what they call it from this company. What a disgrace

I wish I didn’t waste my time

Tried to sign up and went through the whole process of entering my information like my Social Security, address, etc. However, after I validated my bank account through plaid. It said that I was denied and there was no explanation whatsoever. I wish I didn’t have to go through all of these steps just to find out that I’m not approved and the app can’t even tell me why? Not even that it’s a bank account issue nothing. this is my bank account that I’ve had for way over a year and I get regular direct deposit so I don’t understand why the app won’t accept me.

Complete nonsense.

This app and company is a complete farce. Beware that they collect every piece of critical info about your life and person then proceed to tell you that you’re not a real person and can’t verify your existence. The real kicker is you can’t talk to anyone about it because their “system” can’t verify you so they won’t talk to someone that isn’t real, not that you could get to anyone anyway…it’s just very shady and pretty sure they sell all your info too, but beware even if you don’t get verified your inbox will be bombarded every 15min of every day telling you to come and get your $250…which is also a lie because first timers can only get $100. Shady.
