Brilliant but where is the app for Para GB team?

Love love love this app for the duration of the Olympics. My other Olympic apps have updated for the Paralympics but not this one? Surely we support our para athletes as well? I’ve searched for an app and there isn’t one!

Thank you for your review. The British Olympic Association (BOA) and British Paralympics Association (BPA) are two distinct companies with separate funding and operations. As such, although our organisations operate independently, we wholeheartedly support the BPA’s ParalympicsGB team and wish their athletes every success in their competition.

Great App

A brilliant app enabling you to follow sports and timetables easily. A great example of how an app compliments the event. Great to be able to group by sport or time and also to highlight GB performances. Would have liked the medals table to be able to sort our athletes by date of medal or name. Well done to all involved.

Hit and miss

Generally an ok app. However little quirks stop it from being a good one. It doesn’t always send medal alerts and sometimes it send multiple for the same person and event. But most frustrating is the results are not always for the right sport. Looked at an athletics result but the result was a gymnastics final! This has happened numerous times.

Nicely Done.

This is a very well designed app. Simple to use but tons of content and information. No need to use any other app this is the one for me. Only suggestion is the medal table. While I appreciate the rationale for highlighting Team GB at the top. I’d prefer it if the table was left as is in order as it’s actually easier to read when it’s chronological based on actual standings.

Not even remotely intuitive to use

App has lots of info if you can be bothered to navigate it. Here are some examples of thing it does not do which it should.
Tells you how many medals Team GB has but cannot expand to see where they were won and by who.
On the schedule at the top of the home page, there are pages and pages to swipe through but when you click, for example trampoline today it does not take you to the trampoline page and tell you details of that event and who is representing team GB, it takes you to another schedule page which you have to scroll through forever to get to the trampolining on the list, then you can expand to start list. So so clunky.
Also, on the individual athlete pages it tells you how many olympic medals they have won but not when they all been won. Some people have medals and have not even competed at Paris 2024 yet! Again, you cannot select a medal and see when it was won. Then it gives you a bio but it does not tell you quickly and clearly which events they are competing in and when. It would be so simple to link all this info in one place.
This app could be so much better than it is.

Team GB App

The app is very helpful as I have been away from home quite a lot over the course of the Olympics, soo it helps me keep track of the medals that we won, and tells me what finals are coming up and whether GB are in them. But when downloading the app it told me to give them my ‘favourites’. So I did, but I can’t figure out how to access them. But all in all, 4 stars. 👍

Hi Henry. Thank you for taking the time to review the App. You can access your favourites in your profile. You can find this by clicking the square image on the top left of any screen. In the profile you can add more sports or deselect sports, then press save, and your selection will be updated. These favourites will personalise your live blog in the 'for you' tab. Feel free to ask us any more questions! Thank you for supporting Team GB.

Really impressed!

The app has been really useful in keeping up with our athletes! I really love the schedule section and the notifications that alert when a medal has been won🏅the quizzes are a fun addition that make me feel involved in the games and I love the photos of the horses who have won medals too!🐴

Password checker now fixed

Annoying few days as the app create account page was broken but the release today fixed the app and I can now create an account and login. Thank you for the quick response.

Thank you for letting us know you have experienced an issue with setting a password. This issue has now been fixed in v1.3, please update your app and try again. Your password must be at least 8 characters and must include at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one symbol from the list specified on the form. Thank you for supporting Team GB.
