Lovely app for a Team GB and Olympics fan

I absolutely love the Team GB official app! It’s super easy to navigate and keeps me updated with all the latest news, events, and athlete profiles. The live blogs, daily quizzes and real-time notifications are fantastic – I never miss any of the action now. It’s great to have everything in one place, and the exclusive content and interviews make me feel closer to the team.

Can’t even log in

Won’t accept a password, even though it ticks all the required boxes. Tried 6 times. There’s no info to say which special characters are permitted.

Edit: changed to 5 stars as the developer solved the problem in 2 days and messaged me. Now successfully logged in!

Could be better.

Needs to be clearer. Main banner on Home Screen seems to be misleading. Not easy to navigate, very clunky. Crashes on News Tab. Live scores not fully functional, sometimes nothing to show. No back button, can only close and then re-open the app to revisit where you were. Opportunity is there to improve and hopefully will get better. Needs to take a leaf out the book of Tennis apps such as Roland Garros, US Open and Wimbledon. Disappointed.

Medal table

Any chance it can be live and not delayed?

Medal table?

Really enjoying using the app - and works in a similar way to the excellent Wimbledon app.

Is it possible to make the GB medal table interactive? I assumed I’d be able to tap on the number of medals and see the successful athletes listed and their sport. Or is my phone the problem?

We hope you will find what you are looking for in the medal table screen, on the second tab called 'Team GB' which gives the detail of who won each medal. Thank you for supporting Team GB

Not able to sign up

Not sure why this app has changed from previous years. Now having to set up an account and despite following instructions for password (ie special character etc) I repeatedly receive error message saying I haven’t followed the instructions . I hope the developers are reading reviews and sort this out as I’m not the only person with this issue

By far, the best Team GB app I’ve used this year!

I don’t know who designed this application but whoever did needs to design them all. The UX/UI fits my mobile device perfectly, it’s functional, it’s fun, it’s flawless. I don’t think I will ever use another app.

A few issues

Why do you need my gender and age for a sports application; I don’t understand how this can be relevant? Why wouldn’t you accept the password generated by my device; it met the criteria quoted and I assume it didn’t meet some other criteria but the app couldn’t tell me what was wrong? Why doesn’t the app auto-fill the second password field with the password entered in the first field; I had to carefully enter manually, come on?

Thank you for letting us know you have experienced an issue with setting a password. This issue has now been fixed, please update your app and try again. Your password must be at least 8 characters and must include at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one symbol from the specified selection. The App delivers a personalised experience for each individual fan based on the information which you share with us. Date of birth is important in order to safely manage areas which we cannot offer to under 18s, for example some of our prizes. We also like to send special offers and promotions on your birthday. We do not share your data outside of Team GB and you control your consent. Thank you for supporting Team GB.

Disappointing

Navigation is pretty awful and the app crashes every time the news button is tapped. Also some journalistic licence being used with the Paris opening ceremony. Stirring scenes in Paris they said. The only stirring I can hear is the sound of paint being mixed before everyone watches it dry.

The redeeming feature is the schedule but everything else is a bit poor.
