I feel like James Bond when I copy Passwords from my AppleWatch
  • No additional support! Don’t do it

If like me you sadly have a pretty old phone with minimal storage i’d highly recommend you do not follow Facebook advice and download this app. Sadly I downloaded this app went through the Facebook setup and my phone crashed meaning backup did not occur. So off I went to get a new phone as you do, restored everything from iCloud, photos are there, music is there ‘fab.’ I’m winning at life.... NOT as this app had not backed up meaning I had lost access to my Facebook account, now it’s not that I’m bothered about the years of memories because Facebook is fake anyway. I’m bothered about my business pages and the only way to access these pages is through your main Facebook account. So now I’ve lost my business and having to start from scratch! I contacted this developer twice to see if they could offer support, you’d think as a business man/woman they would understand. But I was sadly left with egg on my face being ghosted by both this developer and Facebook!
I’m sure there are other apps out there that are more professionally setup and able to support you should you run into problems, do your research. I don’t even know why I bothered it seemed like a good idea at the time!

You have been warned, have a lovely day! 💕

  • tysm

straightforward, runs smoothly and has all the features you need. wanted to avoid the bigger name 2fa apps like google & microsoft, this is rly great! hopefully regular updates are in store as id def consider going pro :)
  • Use this daily!

iCloud backup, watch complication and shortcut support allow it to integrate to my daily life seemlessly
  • Time for a widget?

Great 2step authentication app, slick and to the point. All it needs now is a widget for iOS 14, so it can be pinned to the top of the widget view on iPhone. (Pre-widget apps on iOS 14 will stay at the bottom of the screen by default).
  • App has syncing issues

Hi so I’m a long time user of this app and considered it the best out of all the OTP apps.

An issue that’s been reoccurring is if I delete an account or move an account to a folder, it will reappear a few moments later. That and the app seems to have issues with duplicates. The app randomly creates duplicates. I’m not sure if iCloud syncing is to blame. Every time I use the app I notice the file in iCloud uploading and downloading. I’m assuming this is where the issue lies. In any case it creates a bad user experience.

Another issue is the Apple watch app. Copying codes from the AW never works.

  • This is *the* OTP app!

If you’re reading this, stop what you’re doing, install this, and pay for the upgrade.

I have tried all of the Authenticators out there and this one handles all of my accounts like a wood chipper.

I can’t say enough how much this app goes by with out me noticing it’s there.
  • What Convinced Me

App has -great- features and support, but what ultimately convinced me to switch? Steve Gibson's recommendation on SecurityNow! Steve is security expert and was longtime Google Authenticator user and advocate before switching to OTP Auth in 2018 (episode #679). The clincher was episode #719, in response to a listener request: "Could you maybe recommend the two-factor authentication app that has some organization behind it and has the Steve Gibson seal of approval? I can't be the only listener with this problem." Steve continues: "Well, so it just so happens ...". Interested? Download episode #719 and search for 'Pastuszak' (the listener's last name). Also,'Show Notes' download for this episode has nice summary that includes iOS App Store developer's app info and links. In episode #750 Steve says OTP Auth is his 'favorite app on the iPhone'. Steve leaves no stone unturned, including apps he personally uses. He vets them well. If it's good enough for Steve, it's good enough for me.

  • The only OTP app you’ll need.

This app is perfect. Encrypted iCloud backup, encrypted manual backup and restore, loads of options, and runs smoothly. You can try it all for free, which I appreciated to the point of paying the one-time fee to support the app and the developer. Well done!
  • Best iOS 2FA App

Beautifully designed and works across all Apple devices. Feels right at home with built-in apps and integrates very well.

    No complaints.
