  • 5 stars!

First and foremost, I love this app. Everything is just right about it. However! When using the “pick your own numbers”, there’s no “finish for me” function. For example, I need the ability to pick 3 of my own numbers when playing PowerBall then I when I click the “shuffle” icon the app will pick the rest of the numbers for me. Currently, there’s no function available like that in the app and for me that’s a deal breaker. That means I will have to go back to the ancient days of buying lotto tickets at 7-Eleven, filling in a play ticket, bubbling in the circle that says “finish for me”. Then if that happens, I stop using the app, I delete it, I turn off tracker, turn off their creative notifications and I stop paying their fee they love very much to turn profits. Don’t lose a customer who does not mind one bit paying the fees! Since there’s no function I mentioned in the app, it’s forcing me to go back to third party sites to use custom number generators. Don’t inconvenience me. Devs, add the function I desire and I promise I’m changing my rating from 3 to 5. Then I will tell all my co workers of 200+ to use Jackpocket.

Edit: Dev responded. 5*. I had no idea I had to long press, total my bad. Jackpocket, you guys are the best! Keep doing wonders!

Hi Jetset X, the function you want does indeed exist! After you pick your numbers on the “pick your own numbers” screen, tap and hold the numbers you want to always play and a lock will appear. Then, selecting shuffle will only add shuffled numbers to those locked numbers to finish your pick. Your locked numbers will not change. Also, if there's a number you don't ever want to be selected when you shuffle, tap and hold that number in the the number grid and an "X" will appear over it. We hope this helps and if you have any additional questions, please reach out to support@jackpocket.com.

  • Great app but.........

First of all, this app really makes buying lottery tickets easy and the 'convenience fee' is well worth it. One thing I did notice a couple of months ago, was that I purchased a winning ticket (I won twenty dollars) and didn't know and was not notified nor was my account credited. So I was casually browsing my tickets I purchased a couple of days later and then I noticed I won some money but was not notified, i then proceeded to contact customer service who then immediately credited my account and gave me an additional ten dollars to my account. The customer service rep blamed 'technical issues' behind my account not being credited. Be careful and check your tickets daily and compare your tickets with the winning numbers. I am sure it was a honest 'mistake'.

  • Complaints ? App is great

So I don’t get the complaints on app I actually read the terms of use before putting my information in. For me I usually have lotto tickets piled up in my car in different pants and in different jackets so needless todays I lose a lot of tickets lol . So this app helps me keep it organized and I don’t mind paying a small fee to have someone else grab some tickets for me especially when sometimes I miss drawings because of work or I’ll get home and say shoot I forgot to play and I’m not going back out . Love the app so far I think once you use it and get information you want it’s all fine of course everything could use improvements but not really a big deal.

  • Most negative star reviews are unreasonable

I’ve read through majority of the negative reviews and plenty are complaining about it being a “scam.” It’s the lottery, what was anyone really expecting? Can’t blame jackpocket for something that is completely randomized. Both my grandmother and I use the app, she never wins anything, however I win my money back most of the time. It’s about luck, nothing more. Plus, they ask you private info for a reason, how else are you going to claim major prizes or prove you’re of legal age in your state? Why would Jackpocket risk the lawsuits? Their service fees as well are not as bad considering it’s about convenience. That’s the whole point of ordering things online, especially tickets. How else do people expect for them to keep up a business and keep the app going if there isn’t some sort of fee? Keep this in mind, the app is fine, if anything, it has a simple and easy to use UI. Anyone can use it. I taught my grandmother how to use it and she knows absolutely nothing about technology. If I could add anything, I would say less notifications unless an amount is won or the tickets are ready. Other than that, jackpocket has been an overall great experience for myself and grandmother.

  • Great alternative, and uses PayPal.

Use occasionally when I don’t feel like making a trip to store. Quick payments when win. Most I won so far is $4. No complaints, sane odds as going to the store. Great I don’t have to fund my tix and check. Everything in automatic here. Won several cents in pool play. Would like the option to deposit winnings in PayPal, if I was to win over $100. I also like the fact that I can set autoplay when jackpot reach my set limit. Mine is set at 200 million. When my amount to play get below $10, I have auto withdrawal of $30 to deposit and play. Can’t beat that set it and forget it. Maybe later I set it to $300 million and play less. Have to be in it to win it.

  • I don’t usually play lottery but it’s so convenient!

There’s a bunch of lottery’s you can play depending on what state you’re in. They can even deliver scratch tickets to your house if you’re into that thing. You can join a public pool for the big lottery games like Powerball Megamillions, more often than not there’s 4K+ people participating in any pool so you can usually win something even if it’s a few cents. Everything that’s earned in the public pool is split evenly between everyone who participated. So far I think 10 states support Jackpocket, more every year. It’s because of online gambling laws etc but you can’t beat the convenience of having Jackpocket buy your lottery ticket for you and sending you the winnings directly into the bank.

  • Excellent and convenient

This is the best things since sliced bread. I never like having to go into a store and sometimes wait in a line just to buy a ticket. As a result I would elect not to play. This app now allows me to play, try different games and auto notification if I have won anything. Nothing can be easier. Simple, powerful and easy to use. Kudos to the app builders. Of course this I am sure has increased the revenue obtained this way but I don’t begrudge the agencies these funds go to. Being an engineer I realize the odds are against me but you can’t win if you don’t play. To me better than pulling handles on slot machines. Lol

  • Jackpocket is so convenient!!

I got the Jackpocket app about 2 mos ago, and I’ve won $71 in that time. A $50 winner, a $10, and several $2 winners. You can play Powerball, mega millions, and Texas lottery. And several other lesser games. You can pick your own numbers, or do the quick pic. It’s so super convenient. I get overwhelmed in the stores. There’s so many diff ones, and there’s always somebody waiting behind me in line, and it’s a little intimidating. With the app there’s none of that pressure. You can fund your account with a credit or debit card, and put as much or as little as you want in your account. You can even buy $5 lottery tickets and have them delivered to your door! All in all, it’s a wonderful way to play the lottery, if you’re so inclined. High recommendation from this future Powerball winner!! 😁😆

  • Pricing model should be changed

I took a look at this app and it looks great and convenient to use if you want to play lotto games often. But, there is nothing “convenient” about being charged an almost 10% fee just to add money to play the same “gambling” games you can play at a local store. Why spend more money gambling for no good reason other than to use your phone instead of going to a store? Seems like a bad decision to just lose more money. My recommendation to the company is to change the pricing model. Instead of charging a fee to load money, I would be more interested to use the app if I had the option to pay a monthly fee instead. I would be happy with $10 per month but I bet some people would be willing to spend up to $20 per month. Wouldn’t MRR be better to grow the customer base? Just my opinion though and maybe the current model makes them enough money for people who are willing to use it as it is. It might be worth offering the option. Monthly or “pay-as-you-play” options.

Hi Freakgenius, thank you for your feedback! As we’re a courier service, we charge a small service fee on transactions to cover our costs, and so that you can continue to experience the most convenient, safe, and fun way to play the lottery. The fee amount will always be made available to you before making a transaction. Head to the fund account section of the app to try it out! The good news? There is no monthly fee, no fee to sign up, and we don't take anything from winnings, whatever you win is all yours! If you have any additional questions please reach out to support@jackpocket.com. We’re happy to help!
