Great but I want more
I think this app is a great start. Lots of options lots of inspirations but I think there should be more! I would love to see a card pack of just pictures. Amazing high quality and interesting perspective photos! I also would like a pack where, as the user, can make our own inspirational cards. I think this would be a good touch. I love this app! I constantly open it up and spend hours swiping through all the cards. It helps me a lot with creative writing, for it always gets me thinking of new book ideas. Again, I love this app and recommend it for anyone who loves to be inspired!ems1083

Cliches and glib advice
Seriously useless. “Challenge convention.” What does that spark? Well it made me reshuffle and draw again. “Create a list of 100 ideas.” If I had 100 ideas, why would I be looking to this app to “spark” something. I will say, that one sparked the idea of writing this review so that no one else wastes their time with this garbage app. I’ve received more inspiration from every fortune cookie I’ve ever gotten. It’s like someone mistook a pile of Hallmark cards for self-help books. A complete waste of time and memory.Show lessDealerForTheCIA
Needs landscape support
Pretty good app. I like the mix of words and/or pics to help spark an idea as a writing tool. But landscape support on the iPad is definitely needed.cheeriegirl
I love this app!
This app will be great for practicing writing in the future. However, I would greatly like to see an AI that you can submit Word documents, or something along those lines into to see the quality of your writing. When I downloaded this app, I was also expecting an in-app writing system. So if you ever added an AI to judge essays based on each individual prompt, it would be cool to also have a writing tool within the app, so we wouldn’t need Microsoft Word, etc.
Overall though, this is a great app that I look forward to using to further improve my writing skills.Show lessOmaha oasis

Brainsparker cards are great. I have many packs and they are great. Even if the prompt seems totally unrelated to my project, I work it anyway; our brains need to connect the dots and combine ideas and experiences to create something new. Very useful.Kickin' heels

not great for songwriting
I was hoping this would help me get through my writer's block when it comes to songwriting, but it didn't. The cards in this app are pretty vague and they'd probably be good for a mundane daily writing exercise, like a speedwriting journal or something. I was hoping for more specific inspiration and food for thought, with cards that were less cliché, but I was disappointed. Might be good for some people but this just wasn't my thing.Show lessBellsneer
