Great Assessment Option
I absolutely love using Plickers, particularly for informal assessments. It's so quick and easy to scan everyone's answers. I can incorporate a bit of technology without dragging out devices for all of the students. The kids love it and some of them are still trying to find a way to "beat the system" by figuring out a pattern to the shapes. The only detractor is you have to write your own questions so definitely plan ahead!Show lessMrsBlack1385
Great teaching tool
I use this all the time for my classes. The feedback you get if you register cards to students is great! Very easy to use and students like that others cannot see their answers. My only complaint is that the questions don't always format nicely in the live view. Pictures cut off the question or it is written too small.Show lessMmmmm37;82

I love Plickers and so do all the pupils I teach! Once you have set up the cards, it needs minimal preparation and is so enjoyable for pupils.

I'm using Plickers in a high school classroom with juniors and seniors, and they can't stop raving about it. They find it really fun; I find it a great way to ensure 100% participation! The anonymity when sharing class results means students don't feel embarrassed about their answers, and I can quickly tell how they're grasping the material. And best of all, it's FREE! Been using for years
When you need to assess informal or formally this is great for fast results. Once you set up subjects you can reuse for years. Great for classroom control in difficult classes. As all students have to participate every kid is on the horse at for every question.
For I class fun questions you can ask the question and then see who got right and wrong for non graded assessments and then peer pressure to hear your neighbor makes it a competition but in nice way.
Use at closure of activity for understanding check. It takes a couple of tries to get out and paste from assessment banks into system. But once in you can reuse and call up in a minute or two for use. I select possible question for use during day or week in advance for 6 classes in under 30 minutes. Then I can use on the fly in class as needed and periodic assessments.
Good for group work. Put a question for discussion in the test bank and then have the students discuss before answering. You can also see who is faking participation that way.
Just wish I could upload whole text banks rather than cut and paste but small price to pay for quality and free program.

Great classroom tool!
My students love to use this to review. It gives me great feedback on what they are understanding and I can clarify in the spot. Suggestions to improve would be scanning in landscape and having teachers share questions. It takes a bit of time to get the questions into the website.Monkeeeeee299
