Terrible company
Years ago getting a taxi in Ellesmere Port was quite easy, then KingKabs took over and is now the only taxi firm in town. Getting a taxi late in the evening is at times impossible, the app is unreliable and it is quite clear that you don’t get any priority using the app, I say this with a lot of experience. Bring back Circle and Cosy cabs

Basically not reliable
I have booked a taxi for 8.15 in the morning from the day before the taxi arrived 8.47 kept ringing the office and they couldn’t help and one lady said because it was booked by the app although when u ring the office they say the easiest way is the app advice u don’t want to be late to your appointment don’t book with them if you have plenty of time book with them
Although i have used them last week at least on other 4 occasions but it wasn’t that important like this one hence why booked the day before

Late when booking through the app
The service is very reliable and cannot fault it when booking on the phone but booking on the app doesn’t give you priority at all. Maybe Tena fault in the system but don’t book through the app, always phone. Can be extremely annoying when you have a train to catch
A bit buggy and sometimes misleading
It mostly works but
1. It lets you book things that the office tell you they can’t do, in particular if you need a 6 seater they recommend not using the app as it won’t automatically send two cars if a 6 seater isn’t available, which apparently they generally aren’t and so you’ll just get no taxi on time!
2. It crashes out in quite a few places.

Can’t really complain
The app works well I’m notified when the taxi is close and how far away it is after bing assigned. Being able to set pick up and drop off without handing cash over is essential. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 star is that It could be a bit friendly to the eye.
It works but there’s bugs
One of the bugs is when you make a scheduled booking with a card payment, then go into the booking and tap call button, press 1 to send the taxi now and 1 again to confirm, they will send a new taxi and you won’t be able to pay card, as this is a new booking and a second taxi will still arrive at your scheduled time.

User Profile page issue
Used twice with good success (one as a timed pickup, other ASAP).
User Profile page on SE (ie a smaller screen) doesn't scroll - so keyboard obscures Change Password etc. And no way to dismiss keyboard.

After my initial impression being good with how easy it was to book 3 days in advance of needing a taxi home from Chester, the taxi failed to turn up. On phoning them to find out where our taxi was, the prerecorded message informed me that our taxi was on its way; however I then waited to speak to an operator and was told that on Friday/Saturday nights they only collect people from their office! Extremely annoyed by this point, my friend and I walked across Chester from the hotel where we had been at a function, to their office, to find a massive queue. The 2 employees at the front of the queue didn’t seem interested that I’d booked and told me we had to queue. Fortunately a man from the office took down the booking reference (which had been changed by them to “cancelled” by now) and managed to get us a taxi without queuing. A terrible first experience with this app & company and we will never use it or them again. Find a proper taxi firm who actually cares about their customers.

Doesn’t work
Registered fine, booked a taxi only for it to say cancelled at time it was due because they didn’t know my exact location. Genius - thanks!
