Great for teen driver monitoring
I originally got this to get a discount on my car insurance as an anti theft device. I soon fell in love with it because I’m able to monitor my teen drivers wherever they are. I see if they speed, stop short, I know where they are driving at all times. And best part, I get a weekly driving report. Carlock Vibration Sensor
I own the Carlock OBD anti theft device for 3 months now, and it works get. The app is easy to set up. I tested it and unplugged the device from the OBD port in my car and it went off, like it’s suppose to. I also own the Vibration Sensor made by Carlock, it works also just great, when I open and close my door it will go off, that’s nice. Some people will say what’s the sense of having the OBD device or the Vibration Sensor if the thief can just throw them out the window..I want them to throw it out the window, if they do you will get that very loud and obnoxious alarm on you phone, you will know someone is trying to steal you car, nice peace of mind for my Challenger.Show less5749820

Carlock in my business
When I establish my transportation business I realized how it is important to know where is my buses running, what route they were taking, and how many hours they were operated. I did an online analysis of the different devices, read a lot of reviews, but something always didn’t suit me. I asked a friend for a recommendation and he referred me to CarLock, which he had used for several years and was completely happy with it. I take his advice and now I have 3 CarLock devices. And now I know exactly if my buses arrived to the customers in time, how carefully my drivers is, if they used the bus for personal purposes after job. When it was cold here, in TX, I even knew if the battery had survived the frost or was die.

Great Security System
I started off with the standard device back in 2020 and moved up to the advanced device in 2022 and whilst I have changed my car several times, the device has worked perfectly with each car. The subscription cost each month is a small price to pay for something you have worked hard for. I now have a Hybrid Vehicle and am using the same advanced device along with this app. The app has always worked perfectly for me. Even the Timer Lock that automatically arms your device after the engine stops after 5 mins. As my car runs on electric for a good percentage of my journey, I had visions of the device arming itself after 5 mins whilst I’m driving, as my engine isn’t running but it doesn’t. However, the Car Lock Tag is a waste of time and never works and as the device is constantly attached to your OBD port, if I don’t go anywhere in my car for a few days, the device does flatten my car battery and unable to start my car. The 12v battery on a Hybrid Car is very little and is only needed to make the Hybrid System ready but as said above, the device will flatten your battery if left for a few days.Show lessSpiritWolfUK

Great Product for anyone with a loved car
I’ve had this product for I believe half a year now and it has helped me rest at night. Before I had this product i would check my car every hour to make sure it was still there but with car lock I can now sleep at night knowing that if my car were to unexpectedly start when I’m not home or asleep I’d get a loud warning to tell me of the situation.Show lesstrue or rubbish

I have had the carlock for some months now and it works perfectly with the additional vibration sensor and tag on my key ring to automatically turn it off when I approach and sets it when I leave, which saves me using the app, can’t recommend it enough as it gives you peace of mind for your beloved vehicle. Life saving must have App
This App is truly amazing! I love how I am able to track my car journeys, battery life and number of miles driven. I have my car lock enabled after 5 minutes of the engine being switched off and it’s really helpful as I have a habit of forgetting to manually switch the alarm on. I love how this App alarm instantly alerts me at the slightest movement felt on my car!
Last week I was casually sitting at home one night and all of a sudden I heard my phone alarm go off (via the Apple critical alerts function ). I literally just froze and was so scared my heart was beating fast as I thought my car was being stolen. My car doesn’t make a sound so I was even more panicked.
I ran to the window only to find that my car was perfectly fine! It was not touched or moved but when I checked my video doorbell I saw that a car had went under my car and this was the vibration that CarAlarm picked up and notified me of!
