Great but demotivated rewards system
First let me say that I absolutely love the devotions and the way the topics are laid out in case you have a specific need. The quality of the content is fantastic. However there are two downsides that need to be resolved. While it’s interesting that you can see how many continuous days you have done your meditation, it’s very demotivating if you’ve been going for 30 days and then you are on a vacation or travel somewhere you cannot download the daily meditation and it starts you all over again at zero. This is not encouraging, in fact it’s the opposite and makes you frustrated and feel bad. I read recommend a better way to track and make you feel as if you’re winning rather than getting in 30 days correct missing one day and being penalized. They should be looking at what’s best not telling you you’re failing if you miss simply one day of meditation and devotion and start all over again.
Second issue which is far more important is the inability to download a week at a time. I do missionary work in developing areas of the world where there is no Internet. If you look at other solutions such as our daily bread it allows you to download the entire month at a time. There should be an easy feature to provide it is absolutely necessary.Show lessVovfufnick

This app is a wonderful app and it has wonderful prays that can help those who has a hard time praying or those who just need to hear a encouraging word or hear that they are not alone, but my problem with this app is the cost of it. I can’t afford it at all and I have read others who feel the same. If this is a outreach ministry to help those in need than it should be affordable for everyone who would love to listen. Youversion Bible use your app all the time but some people can’t finish the Bible study because you have to pay to use Abide. Your app is a blessing but not affordable for me. Jesus heal people and help people free of charge because He knew who had is back. I hope one day I can afford it, but for now I can’t. God bless. I would have given 5 stars, because the app is so great, but for those can’t afford it I gave 2 stars. Abide has been helping me grow my relationship with my Heavenly Father... The thing I love most are the daily meditations. It gives you something to really think about and consider with a prayer to end. Most of the time the meditations be exactly or in some sort, what I be going through or feeling throughout the day or just been lately. I highly recommend this app. The only thing I would like to see changed is the challenges. I didn't know much about them when they were free for 7 or 30 days (I don't remember) I was still trying to figure it out. At least make the free every other month or week that would be nice... especially for us whom that can really help that just need that extra bit of guidance. If not it's ok I still love the app. Oh and could you please go back to the update where it kept track of how many minutes you've meditated I don't too much like the days tracker.... thanks 🙏Show lessSometimesImTooHonest😋
You Version Bible App
I am so grateful for this You Version App. It has calmed many a frayed nerve and has been a reviver of my spirit. There isn't a day or two that passes without me using it. It has helped me to maintain a solid relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and to find peace in the midst of my daily storms. Without this app I would have to rely on waiting till Sunday came to approach the Minister or one of the Mother's of the church for guidance.
As a single mother, it has not been easy raising my two kids. The children of this generation are not like the children I grew up with, or the generation of others after. They are the microwave generation. They have no patience or understanding on learning to wait on the Lord. With this app I have been able to get guidance on how to deal with they're every need, whilst trusting in Gods promises and not compromising my faith. Like the Bible itself, there are different plans to relate to whatever you are facing. It even gives you advice on who you can contact if you are really struggling. Found Peace Again...and a suggestion
I LOVE this app. I love how anointed the daily meditations are and how gifted the voice over is. Wonderful. But a suggestion. I too would also love transparency from the beginning about the first week or so being a trial period. That's awesome but I have told so many friends about this app and they are loving it but when they get the charge I'm sure they're not going to be able to afford it. I know it's only 299 a month but that's just another three dollars for someone. I also understand that I would pay $10 a month for this app. I just wish it was mentioned at the beginning that this was a paid out. Just seems a little odd. But thank you for developing such a wonderful app and I do you choose to pay for it. Just tell us at the beginning. Could you tell us why you choose to do it this way without letting people know that they will be paying? You may have a good reason.Show lessStormgirl98
Really Helpful
I am really enjoying Abide. I love the options of how long to meditate. I'm addicted to the rain sounds! So soothing as I reflect on scripture. The prompts/guides make focusing on one verse and really diving in, great! I like the journal available if I want to use my iPhone to journal (usually I use my paper journal, but this is great in a pinch). I find my days have been calmer as I have been meditating early. It's really helpful and simple. Not a lot of commercials or other purchasing suggestions. I feel like this is good uninterrupted time.
****I am updating my review and taking off two stars because now that I've been using Abide, and really enjoying it, the App has locked me out of the options for 5, 10, and 15 minute sessions and left only the two minute rushed option. There's not really a chance to meditate when it's so rushed. Even the water sounds and the voice over sounds rushed. This wouldn't be a big deal if the app were like, 2.99. But it's asking for a monthly 4.99 charge. :/Show lessAmnesia_Moon

The team at Abide is doing a beautiful work here. When I had a question their customer service was amazing and I am daily blessed by these prayers and meditations. I’m learning to lean in to God more every day. This is the best app I’ve ever downloaded, another revolutionary way we can learn and communicate as the body of Christ. Of course, we all wish it were free so more people could have easy access, but let’s get real, I’m sure this app is a huge undertaking, especially to continuously have new content and great customer support, so I can completely understand the pricing. I do have one issue with using two Bluetooth headphones at once. My husband and I have boss soundsport and through the Bose app can both connect to one device to listen together. When we use any app it works, except for this one, which is really the main one we care about sharing together lol. I’m praying that the right person reads this and maybe whatever causes this can be remedied in an update. Download this app and use it daily, maybe even multiple times a day when you can, you will grow!Show lessSuper Gnikki
Sadly Disappointed
First I would like to explain why I rated the app a 1..when I initially downloaded the app I was over the top ecstatic! It was everything I was looking for, I liked it sooo much that I told a lot of family and friends about it because I felt they could benefit from such an amazing app AND THEN everything went downhill.. I was no longer able to choose my meditation options (other than the standard 2min) I also couldn’t use any of the other features as well without PAYING! Soo for this reason i give it a 1 because I no longer have a use for the app bc I’m not going to pay.. the app should just charge ppl from the beginning because the little I can do without paying is not benefiting me at all...I will be removing this app as soon as I’m done with the review.
For those who are willing to pay...The app has a lot of great features and content.. If you are considering paying, the SHORT trial period should allow you to make the best decision for u.. in my opinion there are too many FREE bible/prayer/meditation apps that offer way more features than this one; the free apps may have additional features u can purchase BUT the free features u do get are enough for me to receive what I need (prayer,devotionals, meditations,etc)
I do commend the creators of the app BUT as mentioned before, I think u should charge for the app from the beginning bc the trial is 1) not long enough and 2) the free content given is not enough for meditation or prayerShow lessseekGod1st
