App won’t let me past the login stage
Currently the App is faulty. When it works, it’s helps me a lot getting closer to God and I really like it. Maybe a few more plans could be added but so far so good.
I’ve been unable to log in into my account for 2 months although I’ve paid for the service. After speaking with the support person, she’s very nice and friendly. However, I think that maybe there could be more people to deal with customer requests.
Regarding my log in issues, I have no idea how much longer I will have to wait for which is disappointing.Show lessJrn14evu

I really like the app but I can’t afford to pay 50 its not that it’s expensive, expensive it’s just that I can’t afford to pay $50 in a day when I don’t have a proper job if you offered like a monthly system instead of yearly I could probably afford. I’ve been listening to psalms 23 for a while now. I also have bad insomnia and for an app that meant to help it’s not helping much.Show lessChildFaroOfGod

I learned of this app through YouVersion daily reading plans. I absolutely love the daily lessons and interactive style allowing the listener to spend time communing with God during the reading.
First - this app I found to be quite well rounded with many alternate choices for selecting type and length of meditations. Oddly enough I was very pleased with the narrator’s voices. They were soothing but not “syrup-y” or overly emotional. Just thoughtful. Without going on and on-suffice it to say I was blessed and uplifted by the first meditations-enough so to feel I would like this to become part of my daily quiet time with the Lord.
I’m a little disappointed at the high price but as a former developer I understand the time and cost invested in development of software. And if some of that purchase price is defrayed to additionally support other ministries-well one can’t possibly object. Offering discounts to low-income, seniors, and disabled is a superb thought though I’m not sure how one verifies. I myself fall into this category and $30 means other things go un-met. But spiritual growth is a necessity! Incidentally the response to the reviewer who was so unhappy with the price and short trial period - well I thought the response was quite gracious. I downloaded this app after going on a weekend away with my schools Christian Fellowship Group. After the weekend I wanted to find a way to have a more structured way of worship that I could also commit to daily. But that was also simple. This app is exactly what I needed and every day no matter what has happened I am able to take a step back and reflect using the abide app. It’s prayers are meaningful and it has many resources to use. It comes no surprise to say that I purchased a years subscription to this app because I love it so much. Totally recommend it to all of you. And God bless! ☀️xShow lessKat20011

This app is really great. It takes a passage or idea an in a brief time unpacks the concepts, revealing the nature of God so we can learn to be more like Him.
On a personal level, I have always struggled to read and meditate on God’s word and come away feeling like I saw a little bit of who God is and what His character is like. This has made God more real; like it was when I was a child watching my Grandmother. Just watching her and her choices revealed her character. These studies have unlocked my visibility to God’s character. Listening to the passage, along with the questions and concepts discussed in each devotional seems to be the key to help me see God’s character so I can emulate that character on a daily basis.
I know as I listen more, it will teach me how to read the Bible on my own. I’m learning, through example, how to take one passage and stop to reflect on what the passage means and it’s implications for living.Show lessLisanne514

I absolutely loved the app in the beginning, and all the meditations offered! However I did not know that this was a trial. I also didn’t know you’d only get a limited amount of meditations once the trial was over. My understanding was that I was getting unlimited meditations for free, they should have said from the beginning if it’s not. If it was a free app though and all the meditations were open to everyone, this app would be fabulous!! However I really have no use for it now because I can only get a 2min meditation. I do realize that you are a ministry, and so it’s be harder for you to make your app free. However, I think it would make more sense to have people pay at the beginning for the app, so you don’t come across as deceiving.. Even if you made some of the meditations unlocked per category, and other meditations locked to where people pay for those. Some apps only give a certain amount of items. I would not make it to where I’m just offering one meditation though that’s 2min, then show all the rest locked. That all being said, I’m giving your app a 2 star because of it being deceiving, what I experienced in the trial though was fantastic.Show lessdaniellia1014
Best beginners app!!!
As a “baby” Christian, this app has helped me learn the disciplines between prayer and meditation. I also previously had issues trying to sleep. The free content is superb and I will upgrade because I believe in the mission of the developers to bring good, quality, honest Christian values to the masses. I labeled this app as beginners because as some of the stories are told and bible verses read, I know they have been over-simplified. They are put together beautifully in the sleep programs, but I would enjoy a bit more depth as an adult. My grandson loves these stories. It is a great way to introduce children to the word in a simpler mindset such as this. This app has boundless opportunity for growth and development. The voices used in the sleep programs are perfect for me!! I am now asleep in 10-20 minutes versus up to six hours of mindless meditation without the Word of God in it. Now that I have included my Lord and Savior in my nighttime routine, I fall asleep faster, sleep deeper, have virtually no nightmares, and wake up feeling well. I am excited to see what the developers can do to make this the app for everyone of every age and every level of biblical knowledge can be!!! ***GREAT START ABIDE!!! I have trouble concentrating. This seemed a wonderful option, aside from other secular meditation apps that I have. I want to sit at the feet of Christ, to meditate on His word, to feel His peace and be there in His presence, to listen for His voice.
These meditations seem to be all just short sermons, and I feel like I’m just being talked at the whole time. That is not meditating. It tells me to go ahead and keep pausing it so I can have moments of silence but that is way too distracting to open my eyes and keep pausing it while they keep talking. As I said, I have trouble concentrating so that’s not a good option. This may be just what many people need, but just not what I was expecting. Meditating is not the same as listening to a sermon. Many people have mentioned the cost of the app. One Starbucks a month is not too much. In fact, time spent meditating on the glory of God and His word is priceless. If this app were to offer more of what it was I was looking for, I wouldn’t hesitate.Show lesschumpdoggy
