Issues with this update
Since the update last night I have lots of donations that display a name and a $ with no amount. Not all of them but maybe 70% of them. Donations that used to show an amount yesterday now just say $. For example it says “Sam Smith donated $”. This is only in the app. If I log in online everything is as it should be. Thanks

Barely works.
First off, It constantly logs me out, but still gives me notifications…. 🤦🏾♂️ I have to constantly sign in again when I update, or simply open the app … I can’t search fundraisers on the main page. The main page is designated to those that would like to manage or start a fundraiser. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure there are more people donating than there are people starting and managing their fundraisers on a daily basis. Why not have the main home page be where you can search for or view the fundraisers you’d like to support/are supporting AS well as have an option to start/manage a fundraiser? I had to literally look into my account to find a way to search for the fundraiser I’d like to donate to. I though that was strange. I hope they update this. Even when I click on notifications to see any fundraisers updates, I’m not directed to the page to manage fundraisers, not to the fundraiser that I’m donating to and the notification is about.

I set up GoFundMe account to help fund my son who has been selected to represent Australian team for competing in Fiji next month. GoFundMe is very helpful and easy to use. We received half of amount of donation money towards our goal after launching the campaign less than a week. We’re very grateful and thankful for all the support🙏🙏

Best Service Ever!
I found myself in a very difficult situation with a housefire! Go fund me enabled me to reach people to get the help that I desperately need! Not only the financial aspect of it. But the kind outpouring of good wishes and support from my neighbors and strangers that I’ve never met. Without a service like GoFundMe. I would’ve never been able to reach anyone for this kind of help! Most of my friends and relatives have passed. My circle of friends and family have shrank, to the point where almost no one is left to help me, in a time of crisis like this. So I am forever grateful, for the service and the good that can come out of it, not only for me, but for the many others that have come before me, and will come after me! So many thanks to the builders and the staff behind go fund me! I am forever, grateful that this service exists!

Abe effective tool in times of challenge and heartache
GoFundMe is an effective tool in times of challenge and heartache.
It was easy for a third party to set up on my behalf when I was ill and the funds were transferred quickly into my account.
It was easy to communicate to friends and family and anonymous diners to say thank you for being part of the journey.

Truly a life saver.
I don’t know what we would do without something like GoFundMe. Recently our charity had its equipment stolen and we didn’t know what we were going to do so we started up a GoFundMe page and it was very successful. We are very lucky to have such an amazing tool at our hands.
GoFundMe Saved Me!
I’m not one who’s ever been comfortable asking for help….however, when I became homeless I gave an interview which to my surprise went viral, several of my viewers recommended that I start up a GoFundMe account so that they might be able to reach out and assist if anyone so chose to do so. To my great astonishment and with humblest appreciation I not only reached my financial goal but surpassed it nearly doubling my initial specified goal amount. While I am not yet completely out of the proverbial woods, the funding and support I have received from those I know combined with total strangers from all points around the globe, I have found myself affording basic necessities food and even temporary dwellings, thus giving me a new lease on life and the ability to begin to start again. It is my hope that one day I as well as so many others may find a way to finally at long last end this cycle of homelessness. My heartfelt thanks and warmest of wishes to those supporters who donated and most specifically to GoFundMe and its affiliates for providing me with this gift.

Charging on each donation
I find it very horrible that a company that’s suppose to fund people take a way such a large amount of money when it comes to transferring. I made a go fund me for my general mangers sick dog who’s his best friend of 9 years with a very expensive disorder. My old dog had the same thing many years ago. Our goal is $9000 and my sister ruined the surprise when she told him she thought it was great we already made over a thousand dollars on go fund me (we work together, that’s how she told him) but I told it was a surprise. I was frustrated already. We had gone past $1000, we actually raised $2033 so I was excited at least since we made a thousand and more on top. I knew go fund me had some fees but it took away $68 leaving us below $2000. I was devastated because pretty much the entire restaurant donated to him and even though we weren’t expecting to hit our goal it was still so nice thinking we’d have $2000 for him. I figured maybe they'd charge $30 but I’m really upset an app like this could charge so much when people are already struggling as it is and you just want to make profit off of it. It’s sick and I wouldn’t recommend using this app:(

GoFundMe is amazing! The process to set up your fundraiser is simple and effective and having the fees taken out before it hits your account is good too. Having the app is great too where it’s easy to check on your progress and edit the fundraiser at any time also.

I love this fundraising platform. I’ve used others but found GoFundMe to be easy, efficient, affordable and I love the app. It makes thanking donors, doing updates and sharing to socials a breeze. The money pops into my account every week to distribute. I’ve raised over $5,000 for cancer treatment for a boy in India and it truely has made a huge difference to his life.
