Missed my train thanks to TaxiMe
The system was made for drivers to decide if they want to take the order that usually depends on the distance. Help!! You charged me for Wrong destination!! Your app chose wrong destination!! I am going to Filip totyU STREET!! Not city!! But app not me changed destination AND CHARGED ME FOR it!! I am in the taxi going to filip totyu street!!! Much closer!! Please refund me asap!! CAN SOMEONE CONTAXT ME or do i call the police!!! Excellent service although you have to add a credit card before you travel.
I couldn’t get a pick up from the airport. Not sure if this is because there were no available drivers in the vicinity, or that only OK Supertrans taxis can pick up passengers at the airport.
Anyway, before I found TaxiMe I always told the taxi drivers (any company) that I could only pay by credit card. They always said “yes, no problem” but when we arrived at the destination they would say their machine doesn’t work, or they haven’t got c/c facilities, blah blah blah.
With TaxiMe, if you have in your account the credit card payment enabled then it will do just that. Hurrah! for Taxi Me. I thoroughly recommend this taxi company : )Show lessbigblueballoon88

3* mainly because a year ago TaxiMe paired me to a taxi in a second. As of July 2019 I have to search and search. This morning as an example it took 9 searches. For English only; this is a completely awesome app and as close to Uber as I’ve found in Sofia!Alandales

Update - I had a notification that I had a message from TaxiMe and I hoped that the developers were going to respond to me. The message was in Bulgarian. I tried to select the message to see if I could paste it into Google Translate, but that just took me to the app, completely in Bulgarian. I’m studying the language, but I’m not that fluent yet. So- English please?
Prior post: This app was recommended to me as I am living in Sofia, but am still learning the language. The app is said to be in English and Bulgarian, but it installed in Bulgarian only, with no option I can see to change to English. I tried to contact the developer, but that link didn’t work. If I can try this app in English, I think it would be useful and would rate a higher number of stars. Hoping that someone sees this and can tell me how to change the settings.Show lessGinnyHench
