First time

I ordered my food ahead of time of my arrival to the restaurant! Mind you I only ordered fried pickles…. When I arrived I parked in the express to go area and then I called followed instructions!!!!! Let time pass because why not after 30 minutes of waiting I called again and they asked again for my name and lane…. I said excuse me but I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes and it’s just fried pickles he then proceeded to tell me oh yeah they have been ready we just need to take them out….. another 10 minutes passed I went inside and went to go get them…. AND then when I got them they were cold not even fresh…. Super disappointed never again to this location hopefully we can get better service somewhere else

This app is awful!

The 54th Street app is awful! I love the food at 54th Street, but the app is so bad, it makes me not want to order food from your restaurant. I have a free birthday dessert, but there’s no way to order and get the $7 credit. I have a $15 credit, but there’s no way to use it. The same thing happened last Monday, so the manager gave me a credit for my frustration. I can see it in the app, but I can’t use either discount. I’ve had to get in and out of the app several times and create my order over and over again. It’s so frustrating! Y’all need to fix this app soon, or you’re going to lose this very loyal customer!

Needs updates badly.

I order to go all the time from tons of restaurants and this is probably one of the worst apps to order from. 99% of the time I use it I decide just not to order because you can’t make notes about preferences or comments. You can’t even put how you want your food cooked like well done, medium, medium well like WTH! And you can’t call the order in anymore with them, so I usually choose another place from my office to order, and they lose out between 15 orders. Every time we choose to order in for meetings , which is very often. This is by far the most outdated app. Also, you can’t remove a lot of items in your food. Only what they choose to put down that you can remove. Let’s say you don’t want meat in your meal. Good luck no way to take the meat out like you can if you were at the restaurant or when you called I have just decided to not order from 54th Street again. Seems like they make it easier for themselves and not their customers

Customer Service/Food

We order regularly typically $45 with of food
Today I order my regular ground beef salad with chips, sour cream, avocado and avocado ranch.
Normally it’s just missing tortilla strips
Today it had the chips but NO CHIPS, NO AVOCADO NO SOUR CREAM AND NO AVOCADO. MY daughter called, after I said it was fine as we both just got off work and were hungry. All she asked for was the missing separately placed ingredients that aren’t even put into the food it’s put on the side. She spoke to 2 different people “CLAIMING” to be the manager and they said unless we take the whole order in there was nothing they could do. We weren’t asking for refund or new order just missing items. Very disappointed

App Tricky To Use

I downloaded the app and placed a curb side order for the first time today. I found it difficult how to change from the default option of ASAP to choosing a specific p/u time. I finally figured out after needing to back out of the order and re-starting multiple times - All the while, menu items we stacking up in my basket. When I finally got the p/u time set and what I thought were the three items I wanted on the order, we actually were handed two of the same item and a third item (not getting one of the items I wanted). In all fairness, I should have closely looked over the receipt that was emailed to me or checked the items when we picked up. I understand that the company that owns 54th more than likely didn’t build the app, but more user-friendly would be nice.

Disappointed

I tried to place order in app and wanted it for later in time. App would not let me choose it. Cancelled order immediately once I saw that it did not take the time slot. Order did not cancel. Called the restaurant and manager informed me that cancelling in app does not work and that I had to call restaurant to cancel. The order had been cooked but I was not able to get there to get for hour and half. Manager said that they could give a gift card for 60% of order. I would have it when I came to get a new order. Well the gift card was not there. The second order I placed was a disappointment. Steak had no flavor no seasonings and was slightly tough. I waited almost a year for the new opening and have decided that the $58 dollars that I basically paid for one steak was a joke. I will not be back.

Too busy to care

I ordered a salad online for curbside pick up. Upon arrival I parked in the designated area and called the restaurant number to receive a recorded message that they were too busy to answer. I then went inside to the to go section and asked for my order. Waitress advised the process was to parked in the section and call that they would bring it out. I told her I had but unsuccessful she then went in the back to check on the order and returned with my bag. At home I opened my order to eat and discovered i only received a very small amount of the salad and the chicken was missing the buffalo sauce. I took pictures to confirm.

Food just isn’t what it used to be.

I used to go to 54th in wentzville pretty frequently. One of my favorite entrees is the chicken club salad. I ordered on 4/12 thru Grubhub and when I received my order delivered at my home I had to throw about half of it away. The whole thing tasted like salt. I don’t know if they’re using a new recipe for their chicken tenders but they tasted so much like salt I had to throw it away. So disappointing …especially for what you pay. I won’t be back for a while. More veggies may have cut some of the salt taste. Disappointed 54th!!!!!!!!!

Rewards program

I had lunch today at the Diner checked on gave the server the number and when I looked at my receipt when I got home the server did not use my rewards number therefore I did not get credit for my visit this has happened now the last two times I have been there really upsetting to me.

Delivery and lack of caring

So 54th chooses to use favor to deliver their food. That’s their choice when using their app. Order 2 meals and it took over 75 minutes to deliver despite only being located 5 miles from the restaurant. Delivery driver drive here without food and turned around and drive back to restaurant to pick up food. The food (one being crab cakes) was stone cold. Favor doesn’t care and either does 54 street grill. 54 says “well we can’t control the drivers”. There’s a lot of competition for my money and I guess 54’s reply shows they don’t want to earn any further orders from me or my extended family.
