Super Useful App...A Must-Have!
Speaky is one of the few apps I simply can’t live without. I love learning, so I listen to a ton of podcasts & audiobooks on the go. When I have time, I also enjoy reading the content I’ve saved. But reading isn’t nearly as convenient as hearing it. Speaky magically converts the digital text content I want to consume into audio that I can listen to whenever I want, wherever I want. My go-to app for listening to articles and saving my eyes
I use this all the time, you can watch the words and see how long it will take as well as set the playback speed, and the details tab allows you to share the article or see the original web page. I recommend this app without any reservation. Enjoy.ChrisKoniges
Apps aren’t always perfect
Sometimes when reading it won’t pronounce it the way you would or it may miss something that’s separated by bullets etc. however for me...this app allows me to enjoy articles that I don’t have time to read. So I’m giving it 5 stars! They stay on top of bugs and such with updates. You won’t go wrong picking this app at all!Show lessContractorslim
Not what I expected
I read the reviews and excited to listen articles... had high hopes...
When i put in URL or pdf files, it glitches out and wont stop reading nor does it read correctly in english (switches to different language). It crashes often... and I am frustrated with the app. I would love a refund.... please and thank you.Show lessLinnie_94

Developer is responsive
App was having issues and developer responded promptly and fixed the issue. I love getting to listen the articles I feel like I have no time to read while I drive or play a video game.Ksc6000

I love that I can upload articles from my OneDrive and have Speaky read them to me!
It’s great, and it doesn’t take very long to upload!
I like the app, I’ve been using it for a while now and a lot of the bugs are being worked out nicely :)

Issue with article titles!
***Update*** Please fix the compatibility issues with article titles. When trying to use the “read all entries” feature, an endless string of html appears and the app crashes. I’m not sure if it is an issue solely with the websites I’m using or if it’s something you can fix on your end. I would really like to be able to listen to multiple articles at once again. Thanks!
Speaky had been one of my favorite apps! I’m constantly driving and this app allows me to catch up on my article reading while on the road. I’ve noticed more instances of compatibility issues with webpages and the app crashes often without rhyme or reason. Please release an update soon fixing these issues! Lacks functionality, doesn’t save much time
Tho I was pleased with the amount of voices, the fact it lets you edit the text of the articles, the app is poorly laid out. There should be some way of adding articles besides “importing it from the clipboard” organizing your saved articles is also a pain. It can’t read PDFs. Overall it’s inefficient. It takes a lot of time to program this app. If the functions of this app are improved I will most likely give 5 stars. I love podcasts. This is an app for someone like me.
