They just took my money and never came out to see my car
So I needed my brakes caliper replaced so I booked an appointment on 11/7 through their website.
The appointment was for 11/8 between 11:12AM and 1:12PM. My mechanic Rusty had messaged me to see what was wrong with my truck exactly, and I had told him that my friend had replaced my brakes and that friend noticed the caliper was cracked. after I told him this, he seemed to have no more questions. The next day I’m waiting and waiting for the mechanic to show up, however, no one even bothered to show. I don’t get any type of response until 5:20 PM. At that time I had gotten what seemed like an automated message that my appointment had been canceled. Although I wasn’t the one to cancel, they still had the gall to charge me the $150 cancellation fee.
The next few days was me trying to get that refunded, but no one was helpful at all. One guy said something about the terms and conditions and that there’s nothing they could do about it. Another said I would get a call within 48 hours to sort it out, yet I am still waiting for that call. Leaving this review is my last resort so I may file a small claims with my bank and contact the Better Business Bureau. Please do not use this Mechanic service. They are crooks.

Hit or miss
I used this service twice. On the 1st use, everything went fine without any issue. The 2nd time around the mechanic was a no show and I adjusted my work schedule for the scheduled service period. The app has no way for you to contact anyone when that happens. I had to send an email from the confirmation alert. I will go to yelp from now on and avoid the $150 diagnostics fee. I don’t mind paying for the convenience, but the app would be better if you can leave reviews for your mechanic - right now it is the wild Wild West.

Paid $700 for services but received none.
If you use AfterPay be careful. Yourmechanic is having issues with orders disappearing after you pay with AfterPay. I am on day 5 of waiting for a resolution… I’ve sent receipts, waited for callbacks, still nothing.. and it’s not like car problems just go away on their own.

4.7 stars?!?!? NO WAY!
This place is a monumental joke. I scheduled an appointment to have my car serviced and the brakes replaced 3 weeks out. Then two days before the appointment I get a text saying my appointment was cancelled because the mechanic had a personal emergency.. When I called to reschedule they told me that they no longer have mechanics in the area who can service my vehicle. So 1) they lied to me - if this were personal emergency then the mechanic would be back at some point, not just gone. 2) if you can’t provide the service the DON’T OFFER IT. Now I have to get in with a local dealership and that may take up to two months, and I’m already past due on my service because I was waiting for the one I had scheduled. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plague. The consistent 1 star rating should say it all. Also notice that they have stopped responding to the reviews. Seems like they know the company is garbage and they are fine with that.

Bad service!
I scheduled an appointment for today at 9 AM at the hours that the advisor will be open to be called and I called them around 10 AM. I had no account on the app which I do. The mechanic never showed up at 9 AM. I’ll try to message him, I didn’t get a reply nor talk to anybody through customer service. I don’t know how the ratings are so high on this app which can be very misleading when you’re done with the person within the company that is presented to you and they’re not showing up on time or they’re not communicating to you..

Worst circumstances BEST Service
I had my original appointment and it was completed quick and easy. Unfortunately the alternator was bad. I reached out to the mechanic directly as it was within 3 hours of service and he came back same day and uploaded everything necessary for the warranty claim. I got a call the next morning and they scheduled me for the next day with the same thing exceptional mechanic and he was done in less than an hour.

Your Mechanic app
I really like this app and I have talked to several people about information and what to expect and I got really good feedback. However, there was one person that was really rude to me and when I called back again and spoke to another gentleman, he corrected the behavior from the other person that I talk to. one bad apple does not change my mind about this company. This company is trustworthy and I appreciate all the helpful people along the way thank you so much.

Stay Away - Huge Scam
I thought I would try our their service as I needed a new starter for my car (a fifteen year old Toyota with the original starter). It’s a very convenient service, but buyer beware. They came out with some remanufactured part and they worked fast. I was grateful as I depend on my car to get to work and I cannnot be late. They gave me 12 month or 12k mile warranty. Well guess what? In the 10th month the car didn’t start, but since it happened once, I figured I didn’t turn the key fully. Well, at exactly 11 months as 12,300 miles, the starter failed again. Talk about frustrating. 300 miles over their warranty and because I gave them the benefit of the doubt a month earlier by thinking it was my mistake versus their defective part, I get to get someone else to work on my car and pay them another fee. Such a scam. DO NOT USE these people. They will rip you off and won’t even bother to email you back when you reach out to them. Stay far away. If you need a mobile mechanics, try Repair Smith. They are backed by Auto Nation and won’t hide from you when you encounter a problem. Shame on Your Mechanic.

Horrible service and no guarantee at all
I just checked my car yesterday for regular miles check-up. The price is higher than others but I thought would be good and turns out they make car balances really bad and steering wheels so hard. When I call them they don't want to do anything just said they needed to make an appointment and pay again. The check up was just yesterday and the mechanic said everything is good. I am not going to use this application anymore.

Unreliable and bad service
I booked and paid for an appointment at my home. They collected the funds for my appointment and charged my credit card. My appointment was for Monday @ 8:15am.
At 7:55am on Monday (20 min before my appointment) they tell me their mechanic canceled and their next available appt is Thursday. They then told me there is no supervisor to refund my credit card and that I’ll have till wait until later when a supervisor arrives to review for a refund. The next day I get an email saying it will be 7-10 business days before my card is refunded. The representative I spoke with had a terrible attitude. I would never use this company again.
