Wiki for Projects

This is the best tool, especially when paired with macOS version.

The latest update brings welcome improvements.

A classic Mac/iOS gem

Still broken on iPad

I still can’t access the hyperlinks in my existing documents stored on Dropbox. I’ve basically given up on this app. The macOS version works just fine with Dropbox. :/

Time to find a different app to handle my unstructured info.

IOS version still very poor

It finds voodoo pad files long deleted, it crashes regularly, sometimes it just crashes on start and I have to delete and reinstall. Then I have to go through a process of it appearing to find voodoo files on Dropbox that aren’t actually there. Compared to the desktop version this is a real let down

Still the best Wiki making app (and it just got better)

Nice and important update from Primal Labs! Thank you for adding Rich Text editing from my phone and iPad. Very nice interface changes too that feel more polished. This app now works very well with my MacBook and my portable devices and is back "front and center " in my workflow. If you're looking at gathering data, in a format that lends itself to linking and organizing as a wiki, this is the best!

No updates for a while

Starting to look like circus ponies notebook. Ghost. Dead Man Walking..........

Not Supported any more

This was a great and extremely useful app back in the day. Plausible Labs (the current developer) acquired Voodoo Pad from Flying Meat (the original developer) way back in 2013.

This version for iOS was released just after the acquisition (again in 2013). In all of 2014 there was no activity at all on this app. In 2015 there was a single update to address a security vulnerability. The last post on Plausible Labs blog was over a year ago.

If you're looking for a personal wiki app you should look somewhere else. This was the app you're looking for, but that was years ago.

Don't waste your money on unsupported software.

Brilliant

The Mac version is where I do most of my work, but this iOS version flawlessly syncs using Dropbox. The support for markdown is exactly what I want, although the iOS app doesn't support rich text.

Unsafe to use

I like the idea, although the execution leaves some to be desired. For example, Markdown files are not displayed correctly and the "back" button and gesture that all other apps use doesn't take you back to the previous page, it takes you back to the document list. Then when you click back into the document you were viewing you have to start back at the index.

But none of that matters because the iOS version of VooDooPad is unsafe -- it deletes pages and creates sync conflicts galore. I really hope it gets fixed because I can't use it until it handles syncing in a safe way. I would be happy to have a "read only" version or setting if that is what it takes.

Nearly abandoned

This app has definitely become stale. Voodoopad on OS X is amazing, yet the iOS version is barely functional in comparison, and barely recieves any updates. No exporting options, no scripting. Would love to see some real attention for this app because it has so much potential.

Good update

I have been meaning to write this for a while. The last update for the pad has been really good. The rich text file support now syncs and displays the iPad version.
