Won't link to Dropbox

Love VDP on the Desktop but, like others, do most of my research/reading/idea finding on my devices. If not for support's very nice attempt to help this app would get one star.

It's is a cruel tease. I want it to work so badly I have wasted many hours to no avail, despite a few detailed exchanges with support. I'm glad to see others had the same problem bc it seemed like I was the only one who can't sync over Dropbox--even after combing through sync logs.

Update?

I used to love Voodoopad, but it's become so dated and it was never great on iOS.

It really needs pull down to search, tap on text to edit (have to tap Edit at the top to edit a page), support for Rich text, and an iOS 7 refresh.

iOS support always felt that like it was second-rate and poorly supported. I really hope that will change with Plausible Labs.

Please also fix the non-existent text margins/line-length on both Mac/iOS. Refer to iA Writer for an example.

Not sure why they're paying attention to the original developers roadmap (according to the blog). His roadmaps don't seem to go anywhere. :(

Hoping for great things!

The original, desktop version of VoodooPad was my go-to, all-purpose note keeping and info-saving tool for many years. It's elegant, functional, and cool.

Since I've been working mostly on the iPad lately, I've been missing the power and utility of the desktop app. To date, the iOS version has seemed crippled by comparison. I'm hopeful now that this will change under Plausible's ownership. There's no reason this app can't become as great as its older cousin. So here's hoping for great things in 2014!

Great Companion App

VP for iOS is good as a stand alone app but is fantastic as a companion app to the desktop version.

It is great as an searchable information repository. You have control of your information and can sync through Dropbox.

Great app, looking forward to further development.

Worth every penny, and then over again.

This app (and it's desktop counterpart) saw me through undergrad and law school. I use it for anything more complicated than a single text file.
