Leave a Review Mediterranean Diet & Meal Plan
  • Lots of outdated and scientifically incorrect info

The app is alright, I guess. I’m glad I only paid for a month. Reviewing the information revealed scientifically unsound information. Such as unplugging computers to avoid radiation? The radiation produced by computers is not harmful. Additionally, the distance needed to reduce cell phone radiation or RFR is 3 feet, another scientific fact left out. The rest of the app is okay. I joined to find good recipes and easily make a shopping list. I found the list of foods to avoid lackluster. For example, if you’re allergic to certain foods you cannot put that in. Common allergens are not included in the list of foods to avoid. And if you clicked a food to avoid it still adds it to your generated meal plan, just puts an ! by the meal… I was also hoping to make my own meal plan from a list of recipes. Which you can do but it isn’t intuitive. You have to select each meal for each day and then select replace. Kind of a PITA. I won’t be resubscribing as this doesn’t save me any time/effort.

  • Not free

Nothing accessible unless you pay for it.
  • An overpriced recipe book

I’m a bit disappointed I was looking for some thing that would help me meet my macro goals for the week and make recipes for the Mediterranean diet. But all this does is give you four recipes a day listed out with the ingredients. There is no macro nutrient information and there’s no way to customize the recipes to match your macro nutrient goals so basically you could just go to any website that has Mediterranean recipes pick four and it’s the same thing only This puts it in a little box for you and cost $12 a month, this is a lot of money to pay for recipes that you can get for free online just so that they can put in a box for you. I don’t see any evidence that they’ve picked certain meals to fit my caloric needs although I presume that is why they asked me my weight goals. I don’t see anything to let you track your weight goals. This doesn’t have any tools really it’s basically like an overpriced recipe book.

  • Well Organized

New to the web site, but very organized to read, locate and prepare the meals
    Thank you
  • Canceled Same Day and was Still Charged

I logged into the app for the free trial, saw that it was quite what I needed, and went into my Apple account to cancel. Same day I downloaded the app. And I just got charged for a year subscription!
  • Not at all free

I don’t mind apps requiring subscriptions, but make it known before someone bothers to download and go through the intro of the app. Other than putting in some information about yourself, there is absolutely nothing free about the app. It’s subscription required ($12/mo or $40/yr).
  • Can’t open app

Paid for subscription but can’t open anymore! App was good when I could use it.
  • Not Mediterranean Food Recipes

If you are looking for Mediterranean meals this is not the app. The recipes look low quality. I feel scammed and developer was just profiting off the the popularity of Mediterranean Diet.
  • Unhealthy and dangerous

The app is unhealthy and dangerous, not the Mediterranean diet, which is great if done well. The app does not do it well. I’m my free trial period, and all it provides daily meal plans for me that come in under 1000 calories. This is incredibly low, especially if you are active. Hardly any protein in the recipes provided. No ability to add macros. Not an effective tool for someone who wishes to live a healthy lifestyle with this diet.

    Developer Response

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry the app does not fit your specific needs. To address your comments: None of our meal plans are under 1000, they range between roughly 1200-1800 daily (which is common weight loss range for women). The key point is that if this is not a good number for you, you have the option to up or lower your daily calorie intake if you need more or less. That's what's cool about our plans is that they're completely adjustable to fit your specific needs. You do not need to eat a whole lot of protein on this plan, but you are more than welcome to add some if that's what you desire. Macros aren't necessary for tracking while on the Mediterranean diet.
  • Do not use this

Subscribed 1 year ago. Didn't use it. There is no unsubscribe button on this app. Can't seem to keep rid of it and don't want to be charged again
