Exactly what the doctor ordered. :-)

My doctor wants me to stand up every 20 minutes and this App support this unbelievably short period of time. The App is perfect in that it can recognize when I am at the office as opposed to walking around campus. I just wish this App could somehow tie into the health App and recognize when I am walking around. So often it beeps just after I return from a walk. Might not be allowed to developers, but I can dream right? :-)

Good but doesn’t run properly

Good when it operates properly but for some reason mine would work for a day then stop working so I reinstalled. Same thing happened.

Support great but APP not so great

After downloading the application I found that I had to donate another $.99 or so to get the rest of the sounds for the alarm. But even after doing that the sounds didn’t really work. So I sent them an email and they responded very quickly saying that I should check almost all the settings on my iPhone that had anything to do with sound. After doing all that the sound still didn’t work so I sent them another email. They responded saying that I should delete the application and restore it and do a few more steps to try to make sure that that would work. After all that I could get the sound to work but only if the app was on and I was using the free app. So now I’m just dumping the app.
I’m using the timer on my phone. Or Alexa. Or even my grandfather clock!

Best app for getting you up.

This is a really great app and the developer gets back to you quickly when you need help. Just move the slider back and forth on the bar to make changes. There is also a group of settings in a pull up tab. Under there, you will find color settings, loudness setting, and others. There is also a tab for a tip setting which will give you all the sounds. You decide how much the app is worth to you or not.

Keeping me moving

I’m finding this app useful to track time and remind me when it’s time for a brief walk round the office. The widget is particularly helpful because I can record when I’m up so the app recalibrates my next reminder.

Perfect!

Fabulous app for regular reminders. Have recommended it to friends. Also - developer super helpful.

Excellent App!

Your App is amazing, be careful Apple doesn’t eat you up. Your app is simple, yet perfectly designed. Well done.

Does what it says on the tin

Update: Love the changes - they make an already great app even more useful. I like being able set a standing interval and see my 7-day history. I’ve used this app every work day for years, and I’m counting on it for many more to come.

This app reminds me to stand up at regular intervals during the workday, which is exactly what I expect it to do. It gets five stars, though, for having a simple, intuitive, customizable interface along with the best privacy policy I've read.

I've used this app on a near daily basis for over a year, and I can't imagine why I would ever stop.

Great App - Simple to Use

I work at a desk and need a reminder to get up and move around. This is the perfect little app! You can select how often to remind you, what days, and even where. The snooze is a very nice feature too if you’re not able to get up and move at the moment. Simple and effective. It’s just what I need! It’s free with one sound but with a donation you can unlock other sounds. I personally like the Unignorable sound. And - you can customize your alert message. I put in a Bible Verse to memorize. Fancy that!! Every time the alarm goes off I get up to stretch AND practice my Bible memorization. I can’t say enough good things about “Stand Up!” I highly recommend this neat little app.

Exactly what I was looking for

This app is what I was looking for! I have similar apps on my laptop and desktops so that I move my body and eyes every 15 mins or so. This app fufills this for me on the iPad. Will definitely support.
I basically have a persistent reminder that does not show in notification hisotry or on the lock screen. It just shows when Im actually using the device and doesn't go away until I respond. I might enable the lock screen ones when I read a physical book though.

A suggestion would to add a secondary notification system. I'll explain the use case as per my laptop/Desktop setup. Every 15 min I have a reminder to move my body and eyes while im still at the said ccomputer. Every hour I have a reminder to get up and physically move around and do some exercises away from the comouter. Something like this would be awesome on the iPad. Same level of unintrisveness just a secondary reminder at the set of every (user defined period).

Thanks so much! This will save my eyes, neck, back and arms as I spend a long time drawing and typically forget to move despite my body telling me to. This app breaks the concentration so that step out of the zone enough to move as I need.
