TikTok has played a BIG role in my sobriety!
February 17th, 2020….this day may not mean anything to some, but to me, that was the day my life hit rock bottom. For several years, I was struggling with demons. For so long, I numbed my feelings and emotions with drugs. Looking back now, I NEEDED to hit rock bottom. Addiction does not run in our family, so my family and I were experiencing all these “first” together. I felt lonely at times because I knew they didn’t understand exactly how I felt. Even with all my family and friends by my side, I still left alone. I was very new to TikTok at that time so I was nervous to look-up anything having to do with “drugs” or “addiction”. But I’m glad I did!!!! It opened me up to this whole BIIIGGGGG world of other people, just like me!! It has been amazing being able to watch others go through their journeys! Time and time again, TikTok has been my go-to-place when I’m feeling down and out. Seeing others share their stories and struggles ((not saying I like to watch people struggle….its their JUMP BACK UP I look forward to seeing). I wasn’t expecting to make this review so long but I really do feel like this platform (for me) has been not only, life changing but LIFE SAVING! Best social media app I’ve used
I’ve been using and creating content in TikTok for over a year now, and while they definitely have their faults and limitations, they are constantly working to improve their platform and protect their users from scammers and bots. I’ve been creating content for over a year and while there have been some issues from time to time, TikTok isn’t constantly pushing me to give away all my private information and access to my messages like Meta (Facebook and instagram) does. It has much more limited access to things on my phone and doesn’t require you to put in any payment info unless you want to support another creator or business! There are tons of amazing small businesses on TikTok and they have a lot of protections in place for the customers so if you don’t receive your package or it’s damaged, it’s simple enough to get a refund. If you don’t like meta apps, you might actually enjoy this app though it requires you to train the algorithm so you get what you actually want not just what the app wants to push to you. I recommend if you have an issue to take a break, look through their account help section, and then reach out to their support if you can’t figure it out on your own.

I’m going to say this about Tic Toc. I’m very disappointed there are people saying the same things the same conversation all over TikTok I spoke about it to two different people in my private messages and I got violations on both of them. The subject was about child trafficking and people are talking about their their experience of growing up in it and many people are talking about it because they are children shipping containers and that’s why there’s a shipping strike people are talking about this. I had dreams about it. I have opinion about it and I was violated on it. I want my violations removed. Why was this done to me and not other people. why am I being prevented from even mentioning this in my private messages they were people that are rating Tic Toc and their people that have to discern if a message is something against community guidelines, but I also know that there are companies that pay companies to keep things quiet and there’s a word for that. There is a word for that, I’m not making an accusation but accusations are being made against me however I’m not making accusations, but I am going to tell you that I think this is what is called hush money being paid to prevent people from speaking the truth. Why is it some people allowed to speak at not others? I really would like to know I’m not mad. I’m not angry, but I would like to know please give me an answer. Thank you very much. This app was good at first but as of 2024 this app is the most infuriating thing to use. first i'll talk about how horrible your "moderation" system is like why can i scroll on search for 30 seconds and find NSFW content but i post lighthearted criticism and my comment is taken down for violating community guidelines. How about fix your app. Secondly why is tiktok just a weird cash grab. in what twisted world should my 2 minute tiktok have a MIDROLL ADVERTISEMENT. no way you're that greedy and weird that you need to give me a random mint mobile ad every 3 videos, also i can't even enjoy tiktok without being interrupted with tiktok lives on my fyp like seriously these lives are just ways for people to get easy money from the stupid roses and galaxies, and tiktok does NOTHING about this because why?! because they get a portion of all the money these "creators" make even though these shouldn't be called creators cause all they do is make stupid idiotic videos and livestreams for 5 dollars. i mean seriously this app used to have ZERO ads and ZERO interruptions and now you have to scroll 10 times for a normal watchable video im so tired of it because instead of making a community platform like you claim you're a money hungry corporation that literally doesn't care abt the actual structural integrity of your app. so instead of making updates where you take all of our data for god knows what maybe revert back to how tiktok used to be thank you.

Such a wonderful experience getting to use and getting to know TikTok and what it’s like. I think it is amazing and it draws a huge audience towards your likes and interests and I think it also gets a lot of people drawn in into your life and what it’s like and people, for the most part, get excited to share and use the platform with you. It’s especially inspiring and exciting to get the recognition from the platform and all of your fans and friends on and off the internet. What I love about TikTok is the community and their content and videos, which can really make such an extraordinary impact around people’s lives and the people who continue to make this world a more engaged and exciting place to explore, rather on or off the internet. With one of my vids, I got around 200 followers and over 100,000 on just one video!!! And for those hoping that find that connection, I inspire you and I inspire TikTok to continue making big strides to make the internet a safer and more approaching place for users who want a great experience on TikTok and while a rarity, it helped me become more active in a way. They married and together established Ropoloville and the 1920s. Ropoloville was a self sustaining community. We had a Mercantile store like first Walmart. You could get anything from feed to your prescriptions clothes food,fresh fruit and vegetables. You could even charge it and settle up at the end of the month. He also housed over 3000 soldiers

There were barbershops post office, automotive shops, gas stations and alligator pond and they were said that no one got out of line that around it. Before Cancer I was self-employed for 35 years and Tik Tok reminds me of my childhood family’s community of people wanting to help each other. That can also expressing themselves and be an amazing individual. You can be yourself. I’m still trying to figure this out and how to get around social media and I I’m having a really good time doing it. Thank you Tik Tok for all the positive people that I’ve met on here. I think you have done the same thing my family did. Reminds me of home.

OK, so I wanna know why that TikTok banned my account for no absolute reason. I don’t even know why I was just making a video of my get ready with me and as soon as I know it my account said your account has been suspended and I know what to spend. It means it means that you’re kicked that you can’t go to school for like one day but I don’t. It’s then it said that my account was no longer there then it said that was been banned from TikTok, that’s my question because my friend has not I mean there should be a lot about TikTok that we should all before I get banned. We should all know what happened why we’re getting banned like Roblox. This was my only way out of out of my house and out of my life cause I still have some I have a stick at home and a lot of people are talking about TikTok and stuff. So if you are having a problem with my account, y’all are just haters like I don’t even know why out of people all people of me why me when my friend or she’s not my friend anymore but she keeps getting all these foreign stuff and what I do do what my heart does, so if you have a problem with me, I don’t care but the only thing I’m asking is to these accounts I’ve literally got complaints. Tbh I use TikTok a lot which is why I keeping this at a 3 star I like to watch videos whenever I’m bored. But I recently started my own business and have been uploading on TikTok for a couple months now tell me why I only get 3-200 views everytime at first I thought it was just me but it’s not my videos have recently only gotten 3-8 views and 1-2 likes you can’t tell me TikTok doesn’t have me shadowbanned! I DINT UNDERSTAND WHY IM SHADOWBANNED. :( I just think TikTok’s really unfair when it comes to uploading videos of your own. It seems like they pick specific people to let go viral and the only time my video went viral was when I first uploaded and I feel like that’s how it is whenever someone starts a new TikTok and then after you get literally no views 🤦♀️ I am still trying and uploading ofc but I just don’t understand how I get the same amount of views and never more everytime. TikTok please fix ur app. I get it if it’s not a good video people watch and scroll right! But you’re telling me out of the 5 million people on this app only 6 people saw the video 🥲 totallly seems like it’s reaching out to the people!
