Purchase doesn’t transfer devices
The app works great for my needs. I did purchase the app to remove ads and it works great. However, the purchased app doesn’t transfer to my iPad which uses the same Apple ID, and so when I upgrade my phone I suspect my purchase will be lost. I’m not happy about that, hence I deducted a star, although I won’t go lower than 4 because it is a good app.

WAY too many pop up adds
I’ve downloaded/used a few different remotes. This one by far has the most amount of pop up adds per remote clicks. They allow you 3-5 remote clicks before an app pops up and interrupts you. It makes using the remote extremely annoying and takes twice as long to get anything done. This is especially annoying when you’re trying to search a movie/show on Netflix or any other streaming service… it literally takes me on average a good 5 mins to punch in a movie/show title. I get that it’s free, but I use another free universal remote for my Vizio tv that has ZERO pop up adds. Still trying to find a free, add free remote for my Samsung tv… in the mean time this one is annoying, but works..
I gave it 3 stars because the remote itself works well. I’ve never had any problems with glitching. Only issue I have is the frequent pop up adds.Show lessjackierodriguez44
Paid for No Ads and then the remote stopped working
So, the remote works but you are inundated with pop-up ads. They’re constant.
But since the remote worked well enough, I figured it was worth it to pay the fee to have the ads stop. Welp, it worked the first time I used it and then the remote no longer connected to my TV. I tried over and over across multiple days. I removed the app and downloaded it again, now with ads, and it’s working fine again. Pretty annoying.Show lesskt shayd
The ads
I down loaded this ap because my dog has eaten 2 remotes. The ads are ridiculous. Sometimes they aren’t that bad, and then other times they come on every time you push a button and last 5 seconds. The same annoying one over and over and over…
When you’re trying to fast forward or rewind to a certain spot and you can’t stop because you’re waiting for the ad to end it’ll drive you crazy.
I understand the ads pay for the free service but this is crazy. And to remove them they want $9. Nothing about this ap is worth that!Show less1997Jestwr1979
A must buy
I have give thanks for this app I tried other apps and they either don’t work or asking too much for a remote and subscription with this remote I use all my functions it doesn’t matter if I get off the remote app to go do something else I can get back on this app and it works fine I do say this is a must purchase so you don’t have a problem of theApps the only thing that I would highly recommend is like a touch search button that you can use when you’re surfing the web other than that it’s remote does everything except trying to search the web on your TV those other Remotes that are out there might look better or say they do better and even have the touch remote so you can use Like a mouse when you surf the web trust me I’ve tried them they do not work thanks for looking at my reviewShow lesstheonly100
Worth the "Add Removal" Fee!
My Samsung remote, for some odd reason, interferes and works (with no clear direction) on my 2 Black+Decker tower fans. It shuts them off, changes all the settings, and does it with every other click of the remote sometimes. And, I lost the fan remote, so now we have to keep resetting them. Also, just…not losing the remote, and sometimes I’ll forget to power off the TV, or decide it’s bedtime and don’t feel like going back into the living room to shut off the TV… it shuts off from other rooms just using the app. Worth the purchase.Show lessPileOfGold
Remote Control App
I paid months ago for no adds, you took my money, yet, still no response from customer service! My tv is 5 feet away, yet it picks up the tv on the floor above me (my other apps work fine with my tv. I hate to give bad, nasty reviews without speaking to customer service first, it doesn’t seem fair. But, you will honor my purchase, apparently to not care about your customers, and will respond to my requests for help or a refund. And don’t tell me it is too late, because I have a time stamped message asking for assistance. Thank you. You still need the actual remote to use it
I had to download this because my dog chewed up the remote. I didn’t realize you had to actually use the remote in order to connect the TV to your phone. Luckily we were able to play with it a little and could connect it, but if your remote is lost or completely broken there’s no way you can connect your phone. Kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion. Also all the ads are annoying. Other than that the app is super helpful.Show lessnovaceline
Not impressed
It was an okay work around when my remote went on the fritz. The app forgot my tv 3 times in 24 hours. And forget about being ad free with a smart tv because there is an ad just about every fifth click while scrolling. It was hard to get the ads to exit. I wasn’t about to shell out money for an untried app. After using it I managed to fix my remote and bought a spare so thanks to the sheer frustration of the app for giving me the motivation to fix things.Show lessGlaeken 10
Reliable...like using the original remote
Most apps I have tried keep disconnecting and I would have to reconnecting to my tv every time I use it I love that this app stays connected even after days of not using it...also can use it to control my PlayStation when using it on my Samsung tv.
