  • To many adds

Way to many adds, the pop ups not only interrupt what your doing, you also have to wait for the add the count down before you press anything on your remote. I just downloaded the app thinking that it would be a good solution if we lost the remote. It’s unfortunate that the adds make this remote completely unusable as soon as you look away and to your tv screen to select a show another add pops up and before you know it your on a webpage for some random product. It seams like a great product, unfortunately it’s a pass for me, I’ll be buying a physical remote instead.

  • Absurd that u have to pay and limits the amount of downloads

This app works great but it’s absurd after paying hundreds of dollars for a tv I have to pay for the remote. I have multiple TVs 4 to be exact and I can’t use the remotes that came with the TVs because they work all 4 TVs at the same time. The app allows ,e to work the TVs separately but if I bought 4 Samsung tvs including an 82” why does Samsung need 6.99 from me. Also, I did pay the one time fee but u can only use the ad free access on 6 devices then u need to pay again if u have more devices. Everyone in my family uses their own device to work the TVs when they r watching so now I have to pay an additional 6.99. Absurd!!!!

  • STOP! Don’t download

I have NEVER written a review. Good or bad. This app is by far the worst app I’ve ever experienced and I hope someone reads this and looks elsewhere.

My remote broke and I needed something in the mean time so I downloaded this app. I can only press one button before an ad pops up. One button. Then after that I think I get 7 to 8 touches before another ad pops up. It’s always ads. Constantly. They never stop. Want it to stop? Pay $6. $6 isn’t that much you say? The physical remote is $10!!!! I have never seen so many ads on an app before. Sitting though traffic in NYC would be more appealing than when you rewind and oh hey look, an ad! Have to go back to where I was now and when you finally get there, boom another ad!
This is the worst app in the App Store. Hands down. I wish there were negative stars so we could get this thing canceled.
    WORST APP EVER.

  • Ads

The app overall works well, but $6 to remove ads? Seems a bit ridiculous. My remote stopped working so until I got a new one I used the app. The app definitely made me go to the store sooner than later as I thought $6 to remove ads was quite outrageous. It wouldn’t be a problem if there wasn’t an add that popped up after every 5-10 taps of a button. Trying to search anything or even just turn up the volume is a multi-minute project because of the ads which typically are videos that last up to 10 seconds. Seriously, these ads shouldn’t be a thing for something like this. Disappointed.

  • Works well, but need alphanumeric keyboard feature

I was able to quickly pair with my neighbor’s tv when visiting their house and learning they had lost their remote control. Works great, but I wasn’t thrilled when going to Netflix and having to use the arrow controls to pick one letter at a time instead of having an alphanumeric keyboard available to type the name of the movie with. It doesn’t make sense for that feature to be missing.

  • OMG the Ads

The other reviews are not exaggerating. I rarely download an app then wonder what in the world did I get myself into!? but that’s my experience with this app. It works great, thrilled with it for the first 30 seconds—then the ads started. They interrupt your intended actions in the app all the time. And not just pop up ads, they are videos that start playing audio while you’re trying to watch your favorite show....totally beyond the most annoying app I’ve come across. So promising as a great app, what a shame that the insane drive for ad revenue ruins it. Uninstalled in the first 10 minutes

  • Barely functional

It doesn’t make sense to have ads pop up on the iphone when your’re busy watching the tv screen! Really??? Conclusion: The functionality of this thing not very well thought out during development of app, but then again, its free so you ‘git’ what you paid for and so don’t pitch a ‘fit’ !!! Why not just charge your fee upfront and forget ads, then the app dev’s would get better scores!!! If searching for an app like this one returns negative reviews for a no download then the advertisers don’t get exposure anyway! (Think about that sales logic!) Rule: Users don’t mind paying a reasonable app fee if the app gets good reviews up front!! 🤔

  • Unbearably intrusive ads- makes it impossible to use Remote

I have never ever witnessed such an obnoxious use of ads. They come like machine gun bullets, one after the other. In one minute you can get a dozen. And they force you to stay there for a long time, disrupting your ability to use the remote. Ridiculously greedy from the App developer. Ok, if you want to sustain yourself with ads, that is an acceptable bargain. But this is not that. It is badgering to force everyone away from ads to pay for the app. So then be honest and charge from the get go so people know what they are getting. If you don’t plan to pay for the premium ad feature, know it will be close to impossible to operate the remote because of the intrusive nature of the ads.

  • Update to past report

Improvement. The remote works again. Not sure why it sporadically works, but now it does. Also, because I deleted it in an attempt to fix it, the ads came back because I essentially deleted the first download. However, the creator responded to my emails, and provided with information to restore my “no ads” purchase. It’s simple: go to search screen within the remote app, hit the menu button at the top left, and then simply scroll down to the “restore purchase.”
    So far it works.
The remote app has been sporadically working, so I think it’s a WiFi thing. The creator responded to me, so thank you very much for that.
It’s working and the ads are gone. Awesome!
