  • Decent app

Stores apparently don’t carry company specific remotes anymore and I really needed a remote. Downloaded the app the ads were literally every 5 seconds so I bought ad free. I needed a remote and it was only $6. Ad free works ok I’ve noticed that after I’ve been in the app too long or pressed a few too many buttons at the same time (change the channel then turn up the volume) I have to leave the app, come back then the buttons will work again. Idk if it’s a connection issue or what but every 7 clicks or so, I have to leave the app and come back for the buttons to work.

  • Maybe it’s me

I downloaded app and within the first minute or so I had maybe 4 pop up ads. For me, I have a new 50” Samsung with Samsung sound bar/subwoofer. When I connected the app to the TV via same WiFi segment the volume wouldn’t work. I feel like this app is probably really great. But for me my attention span is too short to dig further. I’m it’s sure is me.... I rated a 3 because of initial functionality test and too many pop ups or pop ups too quick. By all means download and try. Lots of people have and seem to be extremely happy.

  • Meh...

I fell for the clean look and the promise of no ads! Well good look isn’t worth not being able to check an email or FB or any other thing while the remote is on. The program stops and it doesn’t just stop it goes back to main menu. Also, I probably could have lived with that but I paid $6.99 for no ads and when I deleted this remote to try another one and then came back there were ads again and so when I decided to give it another try there was no record of me paying the no ads fee. I looked over my whole phone and nothing. It’s just not worth the aggravation. App may look pretty but looks aren’t everything. Actually working well as it said it would is a necessity!

  • Does not respond to my message

After they got my money on August 31 I sent them a messenger text (this is the only way they communicate with their customers) stating that the app does not find my Samsung TV. in the automatic response they stated that someone will get back to me in 72 hours. Well, today September 29 still didn’t receive anything from them. I deleted the app and say goodbye to my money !!!!

  • Terrible, do not get, you are better off just using the remote

First of all, THIS THING WILL NOT WORK AT ALL IT WORKED FOR A DAY THEN IT STOPPED WORKING! Second, this has nothing but adds, every time you will press a button, an add will appear out of nowhere!
I thought my life was saved but it was worse! My Samsung remote lost its button recently so my mom went to this app and it was worse than before. We bought a new remote and today it stopped working. I was just watching TV then I went over to my remote to change the channel but it won’t work. This all happened after I got the app.
Usually I give apps a better review but this app is terrible and this will take control of your TV and make your life worse, like what it did to me. I do not recommend this app at all! If the developer of this app is reading this, please respond and make this app better! Thank you!

  • Counterintuitive to say the least

App works perfectly after it’s completely set up. However, in order to use it initially the TV will asks to “Allow” or “Deny” the app. It makes perfect sense for this to happen no doubt. What doesn’t make sense is having to use the physical remote control to answer the question.

My daughter accidentally broke my remote and I figured I’d use the app in the meantime but I had to experimentally fix the real remote in order to use this app. But if I have the real remote why would I need to use this app?!

  • Better than Samsung app by far but needs work

I like the features of this app. However one big issue I have is if I turn the TV off with the real Samsung remote (not this app nor the Samsung app), I cannot turn on the TV with this app. One main reason for this app is to use it if you lose or misplace your remote. This needs to be fixed ASAP. If you cannot time on the tb with the app, it defeats the purpose of it. The app will work if the tv is turned on already either manually or with the real remote. If I turn off the TV with the app, it seems to turn on fine afterwards. The Roku TVs and apps behave correctly. This one doesn’t with the power on scenario just described.

  • On button doesn’t work

I downloaded this app, to find out that the on button doesn’t work. I paid to keep the ads off. There is no spot for logging on and off of the app. There’s no place to email for support. I would like to delete and reinstall the app so worried and I would have to pay to stop the ads again. I was also hoping I could run more than one television with this app.

  • Great app, but the ADs rendered it DOA on arrival.

Could the ads be anymore annoying!? 3 ads within 30 secs of trying to use the freakin app! Jesus Christ! Haven’t had an app get me this annoyed in a while.

If I received an ad occasionally, like a casual nudge once every 5 mins or so would be a bit more reasonable and even respectful. But 3 ads every 30 secs is begging to be paid awfully annoying!

Take your app back. I uninstalled it.

  • Ads and more ads

To start off, when I first downloaded the app it connected to my Tv just fine... the only reason I need this is because I haven’t seen the actual controller in like a year.

And because it was easy to connect it gets an extra star, because from the reviews I’ve seen on other controllers, weren’t happy about connecting it.

This app would be perfect... if it didn’t have ads. I get it that you need to make money and it’s free to download, but $6?! You can get rid of ads on Tetris for $5.

    This is a TV controller.
Tetris is a free video game and it has less ads than this.

I believe that a TV controller should have little to no ads because who needs them. As I said, it’s a controller. You’re supposed to be turning up the volume not clicking out of ads.

Another complaint is how slow the buttons click, not too much of a bother for me but it still is annoying. I’ll tap the volume button 5 times and it’ll turn it up by 2 (then pops up an ad).

My recommendation, if you want a decent controller, honestly, go buy an actual one.

But if you don’t really care about advertisements that have nothing to do with their $6 to have freedom from a random app. Then download this.

It’s not that bad, without ads, my only complaint is that if you want to turn it up higher you have to wait about 2 seconds for every tap. Which is easy to get used to.
