Tremendous VPN
I heard about Strong VPN 3 years ago from friends who are professionals in the industry — and it has not disappointed. Easy to use. Simple to connect. And always works. In addition, the website has a great interface that lets me keep up to date on security issues and news around the world. Finally, the customer service is top notch. Early on, when I had questions, I always got a callbacks in minutes and got my questions answered fast. Just today when I called about renewing, Ken not only offered me a special discount but helped me take care of a small issue with a family member’s older phone. Couldn’t be happier with Strong VPM and recommend them highly.

Disappointing
I chose the yearly membership to be able to access the series that I follow during the summer holidays. Used to have an unblock-us account that worked perfectly. When I was forced to migrate to StrongVPN, the transition was smooth for a short period of time. For the past year, I didn’t use it as due to the pandemic, I couldn’t travel. Now that I need it, although it shows that I’m connected to a Uk vpn, I am unable to stream, download or access any of the Uk iPlayers. Very disappointed!

UK TV
I purchased your service specifically so I could watch BBC and ITV but it tells me I am not in the UK, which defeats the purpose of your service.
I set up on my iPhone and also downloaded the app. There was a configure button in the top LH corner, but that cannot be found again and I don't know which menu to click on to find it.

Doesn’t work 90% of the time
I was moved to this provider from UnblockUS which was satisfactory but not worth paying for a service that hardly ever works.
Works well
For my needs StrongVPN works well. I‘m very happy. Can watch live TV apps, no problems at all.
Not worth the time and effort
I started off as an UnblockUS customer and experienced no problems at all. Since Strong VPN took over I have experienced nothing but problems.
All I use the VPN for is to enable me to watch UK tv from Canada. Strong VPN fails miserably it,for some reason will not allow me a UK address and constantly defaults to Japan or USA.
Despite several interactions with customer support the issue cannot be resolved hence it forced me to cancel my subscription.
Extremely dissatisfied with service .
If I were you and thinking of going with Strong VPN.....don’t, find another provider.

Poor connection
I’m fed up with the region I want to use UK automatically swapping to the Philippines or America preventing me from watching uk tv

Not enough Canadian Servers
There should be server in every major Canadian market. It’s the only way to get around the absurd out of market hockey blackouts.
App good OpenVPN pfsense not good
The app configuration works well for iOS. However the OpenVPN settings for pfsense don’t work. If anything configuring the OpenVPN allows other people’s internet traffic from the VPN to use my internet connection. There needs to be very clear directions provided on how people should configure on pfsense. The provided directions work to make the connection, but I could not access the internet through the tunnel/gateway.
