LOVE THIS APP!

I have all 70 of them and they’re all wonderful. Turns every workout into a 30-minute vacation in a great place. I actually look forward to choosing my trail each day, like planning a trip to someplace I may never get to go. Love the trail narration and even the music - I rarely switch to my own music. Just tried one of the new 60-minute trails - and it kept me going for the full hour! These videos really get you going. Highest recommendation!

Nice nice nice

This is really nice. I can stream it to chromecast for bigger screen. I tried other app which u have to subscribe and pay by month. I did the math and figured that paying each video rather than subscription is more economical. The other app also required to link to my camera to tract my motion while I’m on treadmill or stepper to play the video. This app does not have motion tracker, which I actually prefer. Some ppl may actually prefer motion tracker.
My favorite video is running/walking with three dogs.
Videos are high quality, affordable. What’s nice is I can go anywhere without WiFi and enjoy this app because videos r saved in my iPad. I guess the downside is you better have some storage in your iPad.
The video options/theme are well-thought: rocky, woody, snowy, flowers, lakes, cliffs, waterfalls, dessert, with animals, etc.

I hope that the developer continues to upload more videos of interesting places.

Great addition to walking routine

First I think the instructions are very helpful and the app owner is definitely responsive to and helpful with questions. I have been delighted by Treadmill Trails from the start and have created playlists to go with each download - all of which are so reasonably priced at 99 cents. Time and money both very well spent!

The Perfect Ap to Stay Motivated!

Over the years I have tried several exercise videos applications.
Treadmills Trails has been my go - to training Ap because of the variety of fantastic trails in beautiful locations and the periodic motivating suggestions. Sometimes it is harder to get motivated to slug out a few miles on my equipment (Octane ZR 8 and Octane xR6xi) but as I scroll through my choices of “running” through Big Sur in California, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, hills in Spain or wherever, it helps to escape for a half hour or so to a grand vacation spot!
The variety of trails is terrific with new ones added regularly throughout the year to keep me motivated to “touring” exciting places and getting important exercise while doing it.
The perfect motivator!

Motivating and lovely scenery

Love this app! Such great walks to enjoy, whilst doing my 30 minute daily treadmill walk or run. Beat and background narration keep you focused and motivated. 30 minutes just flies by. Highly Recommend!

Thank you very much for being my customer

Just what I wanted!

I tried the sampler this morning and loved it. I like the narrator’s voice and reminders to drink water, go faster/cool down. The music goes with the scenery nicely, too. Right now, I’m tired of my playlists but it’s nice to know that I can use them if I want to. Love this app so far and I can’t wait to get on the treadmill tomorrow, which is saying a LOT when you don’t love exercising, but I love hiking. I just have to figure out which trail to take. So fun! Oh, one last thing, it’s inspired me to set a goal to actually go to one (or more) of these beautiful locations and hike the real thing. In the meanwhile, I’ll use this to train for my trip.

Love this App!

I really enjoy seeing different places and this app takes you on trails you may never get to go in person. It really passes the time on the treadmill and Dick helped me right away when I had a technical issue! More dog ones please they are great guides!

Response from developer

Thank you very much for being my customer. I'll continue to look for the right dogs for the right trails and hope to get lucky again.

Wow. So, so creepy.

The app is pretty bare-bones in the user interface department, which would be fine if the menu system wasn’t buggy too. Work your way past that, and you’ll pay a dollar to download any individual “premium” video, which (at least in the case of the “Autumn in Central Park” one I downloaded) is filmed at a slow walking pace and voiced over with a super cheeseball (or patently uber-creepy; your mileage may vary) narrator and a musical track that sounds like it was ripped off from a Belgian Seinfeld remake.

“Mmmmm, yeah... the Park’s all... [ours] this morning... let’s explore the rocks and trees...”

I’m not even concerned there are people who obviously like this app and enjoy the associated videos - it makes me feel like I made a good decision investing in digital pepper spray.

Enjoying this app!

I have downloaded four trails so far and have been enjoying them, it makes my time on the treadmill go quicker! I did have a problem viewing the videos but my email was quickly answered and helped me see what I was doing wrong (not allowing access to my photo’s at download time) it was easily corrected. I plan on downloading more video’s in the future! I do prefer my own music and that is easily done.

A bit disappointing

The video is lovely. Too slow though for even fast walking. Too much time spent 'admiring the view', and not moving on. I quickly got bored. 2 stars for the video being pretty. No stars for it being for a treadmill. Think I wasted my 79p.
