  • Treadmill No Longer A Chore!

I have purchased seventeen Treadmill Trails videos and I am sure I will buy more in the future! I get so involved that I sometimes fear that I am getting too close to the edge of a precipice or find myself worrying about boulders that overhang the trail. I like the fact that you do not have to buy a subscription to TT so you can purchase trails as you have the money, and you can keep them as long as you keep the app on your iPad.
Yesterday I told my wife I was going to the basement to walk a trail in Yosemite for a half hour, and that is exactly what it felt like. Put your favorite shoes on, and take your iPad and Bluetooth earphones go for a vigors walk!

  • Trail maps stop working

I love this app. Makes running on the treadmill goes by faster. My problem with is almost every time I start the trails I bought they don’t work. To get it to work again I have to delete the trail then download again. It’s frustrating for the time it takes to start a trail you love.

    Update.
The developer gave me a few things to try on my iPad. It worked and I not frustrated. Get this app it makes a boring treadmill time into something interesting. And time flys by.

Brian, thank you for being my customer and loving the app. Please email me: ds@bettercheaperslower.com. I'll ask a few questions and we'll work through the problem and end the frustration. I look forward to hearing from you. UPDATE: So glad to hear the problem's solved. Thanks again and happy trails!
  • Great! Keeps running fun

No monthly fee and plenty of routes to choose from. After the first go around on a new route I use my own music or listen to an audiobook during the run. And I still have full control of the speed and pace on my own, so I’ll make it as hard or as easy as I want depending on the day. I highly recommend if you want something fun, doesn’t get boring, with no monthly fees. Do this one.

  • I just Love your app. Thank you so much! 😊

Only one thing, it works great on my iPhone. But on my iPad, when I open the app, it just shows spinning loading circle with “Please wait...” forever. I would really like to use it on my iPad but for now it’s just dead app, which makes me sad. The size just really matter! 😊.
Fix it for the iPad! Please!!

  • Hiking on a Treadmill

Treadmill’s are boring. I love to hike but can’t get out there all the time. As a recent cancer survivor, getting back to hiking outdoors is the goal but at least I can build you my strength on a treadmill and ENJOY the journey with real trails. I have even hiked some of them in the past so it brings back great memories. As the winter months drone on I am hiking the world with Treadmill Trails! Great app❤️❤️

  • TAKE A WALK IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND RELAX

I have been to 20 different countries in the last year alone- Cambodia, Ireland, Spain, England, France, Australia, and on. Each video is well done- I have not suffered any lag time as some have on other apps. The scenery is amazing (especially the places I have never visited, like Asia).
The cost for enjoying a walk (or you can run to the video as well and get “there” in half the time, unless you bought the hour vids which are only $1 more). It is a great distraction and you can listen to your own music while you are on a trail going to a beach, a landscape high over the islands of Hawaii- I like listening to easy jazz, sometimes classical or Christian (depending on artist, tempo, mood), country western and musical instruments only (like classical guitar, flute, or jazz Cello).
If 30 minutes is not long enough take a longer hike for up to an hour through verdant flower gardens in Canada, the steppes of India, or the desert plains of Arizona, Nevada, and the flowering hills of Marin and Sonoma counties in California.
Enjoy the walk- when any one asks why you didn’t answer the phone, tell them you just came back from Colorado.

  • Really great workout motivation

I love this. I'm motivated to get on the boring treadmill knowing that a new trail awaits. Each one really feels like you are in a different place. I buy a new one after each treadmill workout as my reward. I look forward to using this each day. I especially love the sunny trails, while I'm stuck indoors in the dreary winter time. Thank you for making this app whoever you are!

Update: Still absolutely love this app. I use it regularly and was so happy to see new trails in the Alps and the Redwoods! This app has truly been a motivator to keep moving! This is money well spent!

Newsy148, thank you again and thank you for continuing to be my customer. There are now 84 trails and I continue to make more. The next trail should really get you out of winter dreariness. Newsy148, you're welcome, whoever you are - and thank you for being my customer! Of my now 72 trail videos, Big Sur and Domes of Yosemite were the first two - and taught me a lot of lessons. I plan to remake both of them this year; if you allow notifications from Treadmill Trails, you'll know when you can delete the current version and "restore" it to get the new version. Happy trails!
  • Amazing

I absolutely love using this app while on my treadmill!!!! I LOVE to walk outside, but it’s been too cold and wet to walk outside. I use wireless earbuds and feel like I am there. I have purchased 5 trails and have used 4 of them more than once, which is great because I get bored very easily. I love the built in drums and narration because it keeps me on track with my speed and I love learning about the trails I am on. I would love to see the Terra Nostra Hotel trails in Sao Miguel, Portugal (Azores) on here. It is a beautiful place with amazing trails.

  • Perfect Hikes

We all need diversion on the monotonous treadmill..and this works perfectly for us. We had visited several of the featured trails, and is nice to relive the walking trails among the temples of Bagan, or down into the canyons of Bryce and Zion....without all the crowds ! We like the beat and short commentary..and price is affordable..saves us money to add toward a trip we see on the Treadmill Trails. Good job and highly recommended.

  • Could be much better

I have downloaded and used around 10 of the videos.

    Pros:
No subscription required. Download a trail once and use it forever. So it is a pretty cheap app.
The trails that he captures are pretty sweet and diverse for the most part (although he does cut up one trail into multiple videos so you may pay for two videos with parts of the same trail video in them).

    Cons:
His camerawork is not the greatest. Many times you will walking alongside a beautiful river or along a cliff and and he focuses the camera down at the trail. This happens often.

His narration leaves much to be desired. He doesn’t tell you much about where you are, facts about the place. Exactly where you are or how to get there. He also repeats stories in a few of the runs that I have downloaded.

There is a switch to go between your music and narration but you have to decide before the run. If you go out to switch it mid run it starts the run over again when you back.

Overall I like the app for the money but could be much better.

First, thanks for being my customer. Because you're my customer, I feel I should provide an explanation about my camera work. Based on feedback from many customers, I do try to stay focused and keep moving straight ahead and on the trail the majority of the time - and to minimize the sightseeing. Of course, it's possible to do both a lot of the time because many trails are centered in beautiful, panoramic landscapes. If you'd like me to steer you to some of these, don't hesitate to email me: ds@bettercheaperslower.com. Thanks again
