I reserved a car to get to the airport. I chose a pickup time of 6:30. I then received a text confirmation that the car would pick me up at 4:30. I went back to the app and sure enough, it has me set to be picked up at 4:30. I tried several times to change the time to 6:30, which the app allowed, but again, the confirmation text had 4:30 and the app would again say 4:30. I finally called the customer service line and after they tried, unsuccessfully, to change the pickup time, and after some back and forth, they realized the app was displaying everything in Pacific time, while I am in Central.
Okay, that’s great, but then isn’t the driver going to see 4:30? Mind you, nowhere in the app or in the texts is it stated which time zone the time displayed is in.
I canceled the ride, was charged $5.00 for the privilege of using their poorly written app and wasting 30 minutes of my time.
If you’re on the West coast, great. Any other time zone? Stay away until they fix this.
