  • Amazing

This app was very helpful. It helped give my sister-in-law something to focus on through her contractions on our way to the hospital. The clean interface and large buttons allowed for ease of use. Unlike other comments we found it comical when it told us to head to the hospital bc we were already en-route but it does appear to have been up-dated to follow the 5-1-1 rule of thumb. My sister-in-law was very disappointed to find that it wasn't available in the Google Playstore for her future use.

  • Contraction timer

This was so simple and so effective. Even came up with a message to say pack your bags and head to hospital. Loved it!! Takes the pressure off trying to time contractions when you're in the thick of it. Use this app if you want it to be as smooth and easy as possible. One less thing to have to worry about, you can focus on the job at hand and get into the zone! 😁

  • Great app not happy about being charged

This was a free app but when i checked my statement after download when all we did was hit go stop go, was that this ap cost me 20 how is that possible. I feel i have been scammed others be warned!
  • Just ok

I like the actual timing of the contractions however, it would be more helpful to know what the level of intensity of the contractions are. Being able to "rate" the pain level of each contraction would be better because Braxton Hicks contractions can come on the regular but unfortunately not be a good indicator of actual labor. Also, according to most OBs/midwives, the rule to go to the hospital follows 5-1-1. Contractions that are 5 mins apart, 1 minute in duration and lasting for 1 hour. The app told me to head to he hospital when my contractions were ranging from 11 to 17 to 8 mins apart. It appears to only take into consideration if you've had 4 contractions total before suggesting to head in but not really considering the spacing aspect. Again, I do like the ability to see the time frame between multiple contractions but I feel there are features that would be more beneficial when actually determining if labor is real.

Thanks for your feedback! We have improved the algorithms in our application. We also use the 5-1-1 rule to analyze contractions.
  • Great App!

Used this app a few days ago while I'm labor. I love the clean design and the large button tap for the start and stop of contractions. Very easy to use. The updates about when to pack or leave for the hospital were also an added bonus that I appreciated. The only thing I would have liked was for there to be some way to see what time the contraction actually happened. As I'm trying to think back to when I was actually in "active" labor, I'm realizing that information would have been helpful. That aside! Definitely get this app.

  • My opinion of the contraction app

Very good, easy to use and understand. In regards to medical appropriateness, one does not go to the hospital straight away when A) waters break B) when contractions are still quite far apart so I turned the analyser off straight away when these ridiculous statements appeared lol. One should go to the hospital when contractions are 50sec-1 minute long and intervals have been 3-5minutes for a good hour, prior to this, your wasting every body's time. What I suggest is - have an 'averager' of the average time of the contractions so we can know the progress were in, also perhaps something to rate the intensity as while using this I wish I knew which ones were intense/less intense than others - and one last thing is I wish I knew what the times were - like if I clicked on the contraction it would be cool if the time it happened popped up. I found the delete function on accident - that's cool but wish it was completely erased and numbers reassembled in order instead of missing some as it does now. Otherwise as I said easy to use just a few added features would make it amazing - currently in labour now and using the app. Thanks :)
