  • Amazing Tool

What a great app, such a simple easy way to track my contractions! I was able to simply screenshot and send updates to my midwife. Loved the pop ups advising when it was time to go to the hospital and found there timings very accurate.
  • Not sure about contractions

This APP is very good and working out your average some contractions are clock work some are finding a rhythm this APP reassures you and it helps you focus on the start and finish point of the contraction which in its self confirms your having them
  • Great app!!

Great tracking app for contractions. Easy to use.
  • Amazing!

Really helped me! Not only to track in general but have something to focus on and to be able to track the strength according to how I felt. Really recommend for any nervous expecting mums.
  • Very convenient

The screen doesn’t go off, when it’s pulled up, doesn’t have constant annoying advertisements like other contraction apps, I give 4 stars, because you can edit a contraction only if you buy full version, but when having contractions hit the button by accident a couple times. And this app also doesn’t record at what time when you were having the contractions, some other apps had that, so that would be nice to add, to be able to look back through the whole day at the time and intensity of the contractions.

  • Great app very accurate

This app was brilliant. Simple to use and great at timing space between and actually contraction times. If it wasn’t for this app I may have stayed at home longer and possibly gave birth in the car on the way to hospital. I got there and baby was here within the hour. Thanks
  • Accurate in telling u when to go to hospital

Well-designed, easy to use and I really like the advice function as I found it useful in my case. It will tell u when to keep monitoring (I forgot the exact message as I only saw it once!), and will alert u when the contractions are intense and frequent enough to go into hospital. Within my first 10 contractions, it already told me to go into hospital but I was managing the pain/intensity well with my home-use maternity Tens machine. Then next 3, it continued to tell me so. Finally around contraction 20, we went in and were officially admitted as already 4cm dilated so for us, this was super accurate and great tool.

  • Got the job done

When I first started going into labor my husband was tracking my contractions with the stop watch on his phone.

"You know there are apps for that?" I said.

"This is working fine," he said.

Fast forward to an hour later when I was in active labor and the contractions were coming hard and fast. My husband got up to get me some water and handed me MY phone.

"Push this big button when your next contraction starts."

I look down and he had downloaded a contraction app! When I pointed this out he said that it was way too much to try to keep track of with a stop watch and notepad.

The app itself is very easy to use. You push the big button when a contraction starts and you push it again when it stops. Super easy for even a woman in active labor to do.

I didn't realize it, but apparently every few contractions it was telling my husband to take me to the hospital! When we finally went I only labored for about an hour before I was fully dilated and started to push, so the app seemed to be spot on.

It's nothing fancy, but it got the job done and in the chaos of labor we needed something super simple.

  • Great app but PLEASE GET RID OF THE ADVICE!

Really great app that has worked perfectly for us. It allowed us to time where she was up to and it really helped. One issue though is the advice notifications that pop up - PLEASE GET RID OF THEM, as they are of no use to anyone. I've been told perhaps 30 times that it's time to go to the hospital when it's not. But I'm still giving it five stars as it does what we needed it to. It even continued to count the time when my phone battery went! Impressive. Thanks

    Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback! You can disable the analysis of contractions in the application settings for preventing notifications from appearing.
  • Did exactly what I needed it to do

It times the length between contractions and how long each one lasts, which was exactly what I needed it to do. As previous reviewers have said it does give you advice about when to go to hospital or when to call but they're just suggestions and you can switch them off... The app worked well.
I upgraded for 99p so I could have all the monitoring emailed to me after I had my baby and I thought that was very good value, considering most companies like to take advantage of new mothers and ramp prices up.
