  • Thank you!!! Fantastic app.

I was using the free version, we had a couple of false alarms which the app diagnosed. Then when my partner went into precipitous (basically, very fast) labour it informed us we should already be at the hospital, which focussed our minds as much as the contractions!! The birth went well an hour later, we got to the hospital just in time. I’ve just bought the full version to say thank you despite not ever planning to have any more!!

  • Helpful

I like how you can send yourself the full report of contractions via email very easily. Then I would restart the contractions to get a better average. One piece of feedback I would suggest would be to have a “night mode” for when we’re timing late at night the white screen is very bright. Need a black version

  • Easy to use

I didn’t have the payed version but the free one was easy to use and understand. It was simple for me to just press start/stop and not have anything else to think about. Being able to look back at the contractions at how far apart they were and how long they lasted helped both me and my partner and the hospital know when I should be going in. They told me based on the contractions I should come in which was earlier than I would have done as I felt I could labour more at home but turns out I was only a few hours away from giving birth so I’m glad I had this app. Definitely recommend it.

  • Does the job!

Simple app. Did what I needed it to do. Gave me warnings of when they felt I needed to go to the Hopsital (although go by what your actual hospital advises, but ladies we know our own bodies). I paid the extra for all the of them features. I would 100% use this again! Before deleting this app, I also sent myself my contractions via email so I can always remember!

  • Bad Medical Instructions

"If your water breaks, go to the hospital."
No. Even if you have reason to plan a hospital birth, this is not a sign that you should head there. Not sure about all countries but in most I expect you'll be turned away if not in established labour.
  • Good app - ads a problem though

Downloaded this app and was instantly impressed. Only to find after about 4 contractions an ad came up then froze and I couldn’t get rid of it. Made the app unusable.
    Very disappointed.
  • No lock screen controls

Quite annoying to unlock ones phone every time theres a contraction coming. Would be helpful to have lock screen controls like with a music player
  • Great feature

I found this invaluable for labouring at home during early labour with my first baby. The hospital were very clear on how far apart and long my contractions needed to be before I could be admitted, so even though the advice on the app didn’t match up, it was great to have all the data handy. The best feature is that my screen didn’t lock or need to be woken when in the app. This meant I could just leave it open and tap when I wanted to. It sounds basic but it made the world of difference, if I’d left it open on another app my phone would lock and I’d have to wait for it to unlock before I could log my contraction, whereas this app kept my phone awake the whole time - ideal! Only not 5* because ads were annoying and interrupted logging my contractions.

  • Rethink your review invitation

You can’t seriously write “Enjoying contractions?” as an invitation to rate the app, straight after recording a few bloody PAINFUL contractions. Oh yes I enjoy those so much - I am a masochist.

App is good but seriously whoever came up with that should consider the user and their experience and situation while using the app.

  • So thankful for this app

This app was so very useful to me. My brother found it for me and I paid the $2.99 to include the extra features. I had been having a lot of contractions for several months, so I was like how in the world am I supposed to know when I am actually IN labor??
Well I had been using this to record my contractions, and the night I was actually starting real labor, I was not sure at all, I just kept recording on this app. Then, about 1am, the app alerts me to call my doctor and get ready to go to the hospital. I paged her and she called me back immediately. I read her the results from the app and she said yes it was time to come in. We grabbed the older kids and made some phone calls and by 2:30am I was admitted into the hospital and it was confirmed I was in active labor. My son was born by 8am. Best 3 dollars I ever spent, seriously! Thank you to the one who created the app.
